Le Buffet de la Gare: Historic Cottage with Private Terrace in the Heart of Périgord Pourpre

Le Buffet de la Gare, with foundations dating back to 1830, is steeped in history. Between 1926 and 1930, the building was transformed to welcome railway travelers, and its exterior still retains the nostalgic charm of the golden age of trains.



In the past, it housed a restaurant, bar, hotel, and railway workers' lodgings.

Located in the renowned Périgord Pourpre, famous for its vineyards and bastide towns (Eymet, Issigeac), the cottage is the perfect base for exploring the region's treasures. Enjoy a variety of cultural and sporting activities, and visit iconic castles such as Bridoire, Monbazillac, and Lanquais.



Comfort and tranquility

The air-conditioned cottage, adjoining the owners’ house, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You have access to a shared 500 m² garden (not fenced) at the back with a quiet area (wooden terrace, table and chairs, hanging chairs in the shade of a plane tree), as well as a private terrace at the front to fully enjoy the surroundings. Water filter removes limescale.

Ground floor:

A spacious 40 m² living area with a comfortable lounge, bright dining space, and fully equipped kitchen (oven, washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove).



First floor:

Two cozy bedrooms, each with a modular double bed (160x200 cm). A modern bathroom with shower and toilet completes the sleeping area.



Pleasant and functional outdoor space

Enjoy garden furniture and a parasol in front of the cottage, and a green area at the back with private access. Private parking in front.
