Are you looking for a place where you can vacation with family, friends, or multiple generations—without sacrificing your own private space? Then the Wegenerskopf Forest House is just the thing: three lovingly furnished vacation apartments under one roof, 185 m² of living space, 12 beds, six parking spots, a huge property—and all around it: nothing but forest and nature.
The old forester’s lodge has been renovated with a strong emphasis on coziness and authenticity. It sits on a 3,000 m² fully fenced property, quiet and completely surrounded by nature, featuring its own small fire pond (not suitable for swimming), a barbecue area, a play area, and plenty of space to breathe deeply.
The house is divided into three separate vacation apartments, which are rented out as a whole:
- 4 bedrooms (3 with double beds, 1 with two single beds)
- 3 living rooms, two of which have wood-burning stoves
- 3 fully equipped kitchen-living rooms, including one with a large dining table for up to 12 people
- 3 modern bathrooms with showers, plus 2 guest restrooms
- Balcony and access to the garden included
Each apartment is allergy-friendly and features hardwood floors, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and thoughtful details. The kitchens offer everything you need: dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and much more.
There is also a lockable basement storage room available—handy for skis, bicycles, or hiking gear. Towels and bed linens are included. Pets are not allowed.
*Around the House – Pure Nature*
The fenced-in property is nestled in the middle of the forest, far away from through traffic. Here, instead of street noise, you’ll hear only birdsong and the rustling of the trees. The large garden with a barbecue area, playground, and seating is entirely at your disposal—perfect for evenings together or relaxing reading sessions in the great outdoors.
Whether for a family gathering, a vacation with friends, a small group trip, or a getaway for twelve—the Forsthaus is the perfect place for it.
*And what’s around here? There’s plenty to discover.*
Walking paths and hiking trails start right at your doorstep; in winter, you can even join the Ramberg cross-country ski trail. And the area has plenty more to offer:
- Falkenstein Castle, Teufelsmauer & Rosstrappe
- Wernigerode, Blankenburg, and Quedlinburg with their beautiful old towns
- Hexentanzplatz, Harz Mountain Theater & Thale Cable Car
- A ride on the Brocken Railway – a must-do!
- And of course: plenty of forest, open spaces, and tranquility1
