La Buena Onda – A Peaceful Wooden Retreat in the Heart of Béarn
Welcome to La Buena Onda, your cozy wooden haven nestled in the tranquil village of Herrère, between Pau and Oloron-Sainte-Marie. Surrounded by lush greenery and just a stone’s throw from the majestic Pyrenees, this charming home is the perfect escape for families, friends, or colleagues seeking rest, nature. The house is clean and should be left in the same condition. A cleaning package is available as an option. A cleaning deposit will be requested upon arrival and returned at departure.
This non-smoking cozy wooden house features a private garden, sunny terrace with barbecue, and a fully equipped kitchen. It includes 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, and family-friendly amenities like a baby bed and high chair. Heating is provided by a wood stove and electric radiators, with optional laundry access, bed linen, and towels.
Ideally set between the Ossau and Aspe Valleys, La Buena Onda offers direct access to hiking and biking trails, the Pyrenees for outdoor adventures, and charming local markets. Just an hour from the Basque Country and Spain, it’s perfect for day trips. Your hosts, who can speak english and spanish, and their children live on site and will be happy to welcome you with care throughout your stay, sharing their favorite hidden gems of Béarn along the way.
