Skogstjärna Apartment – Nature retreat in Värmland near lake & sauna

Welcome to Skogstjärna Apartment, your peaceful retreat surrounded by the deep forests of Värmland in the municipality of Filipstad. Here you will experience untouched nature, quiet surroundings and the authentic charm of rural Sweden. It is the perfect place for guests who are looking for rest, simplicity and a feeling of calm.

Skogstjärna is one of five holiday apartments located on a large natural property. You can enjoy complete privacy or spend the evening together with other guests. Many long lasting friendships have been formed here over the years.

The apartment offers 60 square meters of living space and accommodates up to 4 guests. It has two bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, WiFi, a washing machine and a comfortable dining and living area. Dogs are welcome.

Nature and activities start right outside your door. Only 400 meters from the accommodation you will find a beautiful lake with a jetty and a small swimming island. You can use a rowing boat, a kayak, two stand up paddleboards and two canoes free of charge.

The spacious garden area offers many additional facilities including a sauna, a hot tub, a grill hut, a playground, hammocks, table tennis and darts. Each apartment has its own garden furniture set for private outdoor relaxation.

In summer you can enjoy hiking trails, forest walks as well as berry and mushroom picking. In winter you will find an illuminated cross country ski trail nearby, and if the weather allows, you can go ice skating on the lakes.

Recommended excursions include Trollstigen in Lesjöfors, the Hütteberget viewpoint, the Ekshärad Moose Park, the town of Filipstad and several nature reserves.
