This modern semi-detached chalet, featuring a beautifully landscaped garden, is just 400 metres from the ski lift of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. Still, the top ski area of Nassfeld is also easy to reach with the free ski bus barely 300 metres away. In summer, this is the region for beautiful hiking trails, near the tri-border point Austria-Italy-Slovenia. Lake Weissensee is also easy to reach by car. On the lovely covered terrace, you can enjoy the peace of this area
Kötschach is renowned for its stunning and pristine natural surroundings. In the village, you can also relax in the subtropical swimming pool with a sauna. The ski area Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg is a small but delicate ski area with 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country trails. Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the top of Carinthia's Gailtal valley, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the tourist region Nassfeld - Pressegger See and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (water and wellness oasis Aquarena). Other ski resorts in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometres of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometres of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the eastern Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometres of slopes. There are many activities such as hiking, walking and mountain biking. Also visit Wolayersee and Frischenkofel to experience the impressive mountains and lakes. In the summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural pool and the Pressegger See, located east of Hermagor, offer plenty of swimming fun!
