The yurt is tucked away behind former barn and stable buildings, now converted into holiday homes—quiet and hidden from the road. It has running water and optional infrared heating. A bathroom with shower is about 120 steps across the courtyard
The well-known cities of Rostock, Warnemünde, Bad Doberan and Wismar, as well as the Baltic seaside resorts of Kühlungsborn, Heiligendamm and Rerik, are all within easy reach by bike (approx. 10 to 15 km).
There are various supermarkets, a bank, petrol stations, etc. in the village. Places of interest in the village are the famous sinking mill and the East Rock Museum
