Welcome to the 45 m² Apartment Scheffelhaus, centrally yet quietly located in the heart of Gengenbach, ideal for up to 2 guests. The apartment offers 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, TV with streaming services via RoKu stick, fan, washing machine, and a dedicated workspace. A baby cot and high chair are available upon request.

As is common in many timber-framed houses with old wooden beams, sounds from the house may be somewhat audible—something to note for very light sleepers. The hosts live nearby and are happy to assist you if needed.

The house is itself a historic place on the map of the city, nice!!

Pros: We are very impressed by the host, very flexible, and cooperative. They offered a room heater as we needed a special situation. The apartment is walkable from the station and city center, and the city itself is very beautiful. Suggestions - I would suggest that they (holidu or host) explain well in advance of how the check in mechanism is (like where the keys are stored etc). And this should be available on the web site. Secondly, it should have been clearly mentioned that the apartment is available on first floor. If the guest is carrying heavy bags, it is difficult to take them upstairs in the absence of a lift (which is not there). The facility is otherwise excellent, they provided all the utensils, oils guidance, and support. Would like to visit again.
