In winter, the region transforms into a true snow paradise. The family-friendly ski area of Heidi Alm (12 km of slopes) is within walking distance – and with enough snow, you can even ski directly from the chalets! For more challenge, the ski areas of Bad Kleinkirchheim (103 km of slopes), Turracher Höhe (42 km of slopes), Hochrindl (20 km of slopes), and Goldeck with the longest black slope in Austria are nearby. A cross-country skiing trail starts right behind the chalet for delightful skiing excursions. And after an active day? Relax in your own outdoor sauna or at the two thermal baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

In summer, the alpine meadows, mountain lakes, and hiking trails of the Heidi Alm invite you to hike, mountain bike, or simply enjoy the silence.
