You’ll reach the vacation rental—built in 2020—via a private driveway; your parking spot is right next to the house. An outdoor staircase leads up to your 30-square-meter rooftop terrace, and from there you enter the apartment.
You’ll be welcomed by a spacious, air-conditioned living-dining room with a large open kitchen that meets all your expectations.
Adjacent to the living room, separated by a small hallway, is the air-conditioned bedroom. A super-comfortable box-spring bed ensures a good night’s sleep, and a large sliding-door closet offers plenty of storage space for your clothes.

From the living room, a staircase leads up to the open loft, which offers sleeping space for 2 additional guests.
If you’d like to cook, the modern kitchen has everything you need, including a full set of cutlery and high-quality china, as well as pots and pans in all sizes.
With a microwave, oven, and glass-ceramic cooktop, you can prepare any dish, and the dirty dishes can then be loaded into the dishwasher.
Wi-Fi is available, as is a modern internet-enabled TV that also allows you to stream content.

If you’re in the mood for bike rides, there is a women’s and a men’s bicycle in the shed on the property for your use; you’re also welcome to store your own bikes there. There’s also an outlet for charging an e-bike.
In the same shed, you’ll also find a large umbrella for your patio, as well as plenty of chairs and lounge chairs.

Your vacation rental is located in Pötenitz, at Bergstraße 6a.
You can reach it via the A20 Baltic Sea Highway, taking the Schönberg exit.
From there, it’s about 15 kilometers to your apartment.
Pötenitz is located in the northwesternmost corner of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, very close to Travemünde.
The town is surrounded by nature reserves and is about 1,000 meters from the Baltic Sea—within walking distance.
A large supermarket with an attached bakery is 3 km away.
There’s a café about 100 meters away, and restaurants in the surrounding villages and small towns.
Beachbay-Travemünde, the home port of the four-masted barque Passat, is 3 km away; a wonderful marina there is the perfect spot for a sundowner, and shopping and dining options round out the experience.
Travemünde is 4 km away; you can take one of two ferries across the Trave River to visit Travemünde.
Pötenitz is centrally located, making it an ideal base for visits to Wismar (approx. 40 km), Schwerin (approx. 50 km), Lübeck (approx. 30 km), and Hamburg (approx. 100 km).
An extensive network of bike paths offers opportunities for leisurely rides; the EuroVelo, a Baltic Sea bike route, allows you to cycle east toward Boltenhagen or west via Travemünde to Timmendorf or Scharbeutz.
The unspoiled, 28-km-long sandy beach stretching from Travemünde to Boltenhagen is within walking distance via a 1-km-long trail through a nature reserve.
