The “Steuerbord” vacation rental in Maasholm-Bad is the ideal getaway for two people looking to spend a relaxing vacation on the Baltic Sea. Spanning approximately 40 m², this lovingly furnished accommodation offers all the comforts you could wish for.
The living area is stylishly designed and invites you to unwind after a day in the fresh air. The open kitchenette is fully equipped and allows you to prepare your favorite meals yourself. Adjacent to it is a cozy dining area, perfect for enjoying meals together.
In the bedroom, a comfortable double bed ensures a restful night’s sleep, while the modern bathroom with a shower provides all the amenities for a pleasant stay. The large garden is particularly beautiful; it’s in full bloom during the summer months and invites you to relax outdoors. There is a storage area for your bicycles under the carport, equipped with wall anchors for securing them and a charging station—perfect for actively exploring the surrounding area.
The “Steuerbord” apartment is located on the right side of the house.
If you’re traveling with friends or another couple, you can also book the neighboring “Backbord” vacation apartment. Both apartments have separate entrances and are independent of one another—ideal for vacationing together while still maintaining your own privacy. This allows you to perfectly combine socializing with some quiet time.
The vacation apartment is located on a quiet side street in Maasholm-Bad, an idyllic village between the Schlei and the Baltic Sea. You’re just a few minutes’ walk from the fine-sand beach, the Oehe-Schleimünde nature reserve, and the gentle riverside paths along the Schlei. Here, your vacation begins the moment you look out the window—with lush greenery, fresh sea air, and birdsong.
The location is ideal for anyone who loves nature and the outdoors: whether it’s long walks by the water, bike rides through the Schlei region, or a visit to the fishing village of Maasholm with its small harbor and cozy cafés—everything is within easy reach. The towns of Kappeln and Schleswig also make for great day trips, with their maritime charm, museums, and regional cuisine.
For water sports enthusiasts, the area offers ideal conditions: sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, or a boat tour on the Schlei are just a few of the options. And those who simply want to relax will find their favorite spot in the large garden or on the nearby beach.
We would like to point out that access to our “Backbord” and “Steuerbord” vacation apartments is only partially suitable for guests with limited mobility. The path has steps and—in classic Frisian style—is made of natural Baltic Sea stones, making it somewhat uneven (see photo).
