Welcome to the “Sylter Friesenherz”—a place that feels warm and special the moment you arrive. Nestled in a quiet corner of Old Westerland, surrounded by small paths and close to the popular dog parks, this house exudes exactly the charm you’d hope to find on Sylt: Frisian coziness, lovingly decorated interiors, and an atmosphere that helps you slow down.
Even on the first floor, you can sense why this house is called “Friesenherz.” The light-filled living and kitchen area opens directly onto the terrace and into the spacious garden—a green retreat that becomes the lively heart of the home during the summer months. Breakfast among blooming roses, relaxing afternoons in your own beach chair, long evenings with family and friends, or a glass of wine in the warm evening sun: This outdoor space is perfect for unforgettable moments and genuine vacation memories.
The beautiful ocean-blue country-style kitchen, the cozy sofa nook, and the warm colors create a feeling of comfort inside. The fireplace is decorative, but its candlelight creates a cozy atmosphere—especially on cooler days. This level also features a full bathroom and a practical laundry room, ideal for longer stays, days at the beach, and trips with children or a dog.
The bedrooms are located on the upper floor and have been designed with great attention to detail. The spacious master bedroom impresses with its welcoming ambiance, plenty of space, and a comfortable 180x200 cm box-spring bed that ensures restful nights. Right next to it is a smaller, particularly cozy bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, nautical accents, and warm fabrics—perfect for couples, friends, or older children.
Under the roof, another light-filled retreat awaits: a bedroom with charming sloping ceilings, also featuring a 160x200 cm bed, plenty of storage space, and a small workspace right by the skylight, offering a view of the sky. A private bathroom with a bathtub lends this area a soothing sense of privacy.
Outside, the lovingly landscaped garden rounds out the overall picture: a sunny terrace, a private beach chair, and plenty of greenery. Please note that the garden shed is private and not available for use. Bicycles can be conveniently parked in the garden, and a private parking space is located right next to the house.
The “Sylter Friesenherz” is a Frisian gem—warm, personal, and full of character. A place that comes alive in every season: in summer with garden life and light, in winter with candles, tranquility, and Frisian coziness.
