House for 2–4 Guests on the Wine Route in Central Alsace

The "IRIS" holiday home is located on the upper floor of a detached house on the edge of the village of SCHERWILLER, with no other occupants. Enjoy a peaceful stay with plenty of natural light and stunning views of the mountains, Ortenbourg Castle, and the vineyards. The property is next to the owners’ house, separated by a courtyard. If you need advice or information, your hosts are available to help.



Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle) open to the living area with a sofa and TV. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. A baby cot is available on request. The bathroom has a shower and washing machine; the toilet is separate. The enclosed courtyard provides a parking space and outdoor seating area.



SCHERWILLER is a picturesque village with half-timbered houses from the 17th and 18th centuries and the Aubach river running through it. Set at the foot of the Vosges hills on the Wine Route, in the heart of Alsace, the property is ideally located for exploring the region’s main historical and cultural sites: Haut-Kœnigsbourg, Sélestat (4 km), Colmar (30 km), Obernai, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Eguisheim, Strasbourg (45 km), Mont Sainte-Odile, the Ungersheim Ecomuseum, and Europa-Park in Rust (Germany).



Many walking and hiking trails start right from the house.
