The mountain village Flachau is on a slight slope with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain world of the Salzburger Land (Dachstein, Bischofsmütze) and Flachau. All around the chalets there are a variety of spots for grilling, chatting, sunbathing and relaxing. Hiking and mountain biking trails tot he Grießenaralmen lead right past the chalets and there are walking paths through forests and meadows, running and Nordic walking routes and cycle paths right next to the village.

In front of each chalet there is a lovely grill area with a garden table, benches and deckchairs. A Weber bell grill can be used free of charge.

You can clip on your skis or board at the chalet door and set off on the piste for a fabulous day of skiing. The top location in Flachau offers ski in - ski out, right by the ski piste, idyllically situated on a slope but still in the centre, ski schools and ski rental, apres-ski and nightlife, easily accessible by car along the A10 Tauernautobahn (exit 66).
