Prerow is an idyllically situated locality right by the Baltic Sea, amidst the Darß primeval forest with its unique cycling and hiking paths. Darß is part of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst chain of peninsulas. Large parts of this forest and its surroundings belong to the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.
Our comfortable furnished holiday apartment is quietly situated on a side street with little traffic. The beach and the centre are just a few minutes’ walk or bike ride away. There are shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The apartment provides a kitchen (hob and oven), a living room (with flatscreen TV), a bedroom (with a double bed) and a bathroom. A terrace and a grill are available. The terrace with terrace furniture, a parasol and a grill invites you to sit and relax. There is a parking space by the house.
The Baltic sea town of Prerow has for many years been awarded the Blue Flag environmental seal by the EU. The pier 395 metres long and the Darß lighthouse are local landmarks and give the town an unmistakable character. The Prerow bay, characterised by fine and snow-white sand, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, providing ideal conditions for an interesting and relaxing Baltic Sea holiday. The kilometre-long beach is a popular destination for all ages, not only in summer.
It is about 1000 metres to the beautiful, white sandy beach and about 700 metres to the Prerow harbour with various passenger boats (including a Mississippi steam boat). You can hire bicycles nearby to explore the wonderful landscape or the Darß primeval forest. It is recommended to go on a horse and cart ride to the lighthouse through the primeval forest.
