Helichrysum Lofts – Stylish oasis of calm near Lagouvardos Bay

The Helichrysum Lofts holiday complex with pool is located on Lagouvardos Beach, surrounded by extensive olive groves on the southwestern coast of Messinia, washed by the Ionian Sea. It is named after Helichrysum, a wild herb revered since ancient times that stands for timeless beauty, inner harmony, and well-being. This enchanting property aims to convey this atmosphere of regeneration and lightness to its guests as a stylish retreat for peace and complete relaxation.

Completed in the summer of 2025, the complex, surrounded by a lovingly landscaped garden, comprises six elegantly furnished houses with thoughtful comforts and a spacious pool area. The gentle architecture blends harmoniously into the landscape of the Trifillias beach region. Lagouvardos Beach, just a five-minute walk away, is the shining flagship of Helichrysum Lofts: a sprawling sandy bay lined with pine trees – ideal for relaxing hours by the water, carefree swimming, and unforgettable vacation moments. When the wind picks up, the beach becomes a popular spot for surfers and experienced swimmers.

The six houses are spaced comfortably apart along the shared pool on the enclosed 7,000 square meter garden property. An elegant family house, two semi-detached houses with a total of four charming junior semi-detached houses, a small blue house serving as a reception area, and two additional small detached houses make up the ensemble. One of the small detached houses is occupied by the young landlord family in the summer.

Two old, tall olive trees provide pleasant shade on the small platia in front of the reception house – an inviting place for socializing and balmy summer evenings. Paved paths lead through the blooming Mediterranean garden to the pool terrace, equipped with six spacious parasols, twelve comfortable loungers, and an outdoor shower. The approximately 90 sqm communal pool (10 × 9 m, 1.50 m deep, unheated, open from March 28 to November 15) and a 7 sqm children's pool (2.5 × 2.7 m) promise carefree swimming fun for young and old alike.

In the basement of the blue reception building, guests have access to a utility room with a washing machine, iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner.
A gas grill, bicycles, and mountain bikes are also available on request.

The comfortable and tastefully furnished Family House is located at the quiet end of the row of houses and impresses with its bright, friendly atmosphere. Pastel colors, selected woods, and modern, elegant, and simple furniture create a harmonious overall picture.

The ground floor living area of the two-story vacation home welcomes guests with its pleasant spaciousness. Large windows flood the room with light and offer a view of the pool and garden. On one side is the dining area with direct access to the covered terrace. The large dining table and the adjoining, well-equipped open kitchen invite you to cook and enjoy meals together. On the other side is the living room with two elegant sofas and an armchair – a cozy retreat with direct access to the front terrace. Also on the ground floor are a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.

Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed (sloping ceiling 2.40–1.34 m) and another bedroom with two single beds (open passage room without door, sloping ceiling 2.20–1.14 m) and a shared bathroom.
The covered terrace in front of the house provides pleasant shade. Two comfortable floor cushions, two armchairs, and a sofa create an inviting place to relax and linger.

For children up to 12 years of age, an air mattress is available free of charge on request as an additional sleeping accommodation.

The southwestern coast of Messinia offers numerous sandy beaches with crystal clear water – from long sandy beaches to small, hidden coves. The nearest beaches are among the most beautiful in the region. The nearby Lagouvardos Beach is a sprawling sandy beach surrounded by pine trees and an impressive mountain backdrop – ideal for swimming, surfing, canoeing, snorkeling, or fishing. Other beaches within a radius of up to 20 km include Voidokilia with its semicircular bay, Goldcost (Mati) with fine sand, and the picturesque bays of Barlas, Vromoneri, Petrochori, and Romanos.
