Visitor’s tax in Beckerwitz: From April 1 to October 31 each year, the municipality charges a visitor’s tax. This tax is remitted to the municipality by the property owner. Please note that the tourist tax will be added to your bill at the time of booking.
Rates: Ages 16 and up: €1.00/day | Ages 6–16: €0.50/day

The Beckerwitz vacation resort is idyllically situated between the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen and the Hanseatic city of Wismar. The popular "Wohlenberger Wiek" swimming cove is located in the immediate vicinity; it’s especially popular with families because it features a shallow and mostly calm stretch of beach. It is accessible on foot, by bike, or by car (parking is available nearby).
Whether you’d like to relax on the beach, go on long bike rides along the beautiful Baltic Sea coast, or simply visit the historic Hanseatic city of Wismar, everything is possible from our vacation rental. Destinations such as Schwerin, with its stunning castle in the middle of the lake, are also well worth a day trip.
Our vacation rental is called “Lütt Matten de Has,” named after the attached children’s song:

This Low German children’s song brings back wonderful memories of summer vacations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. That’s why we’ve made this song the theme of our vacation rental, which we purchased in 2017 and then lovingly renovated.
We are Inka and Uwe Hüning, from Dresden. We want you to enjoy a peaceful, relaxed, and restful vacation in our vacation rental.
