Stay in a unique holiday home in the heart of Lüneburg's Old Town. This heritage-listed house, dating back to 1520, has been brought back to life following an extensive core renovation.
Once a small shop housing an old trophy and clockmaker’s workshop, this space has been transformed into a true gem where 500 years of history meet modern living comfort. After a long stroll through the city, the small inner courtyard offers a wonderful place to rest and relax in a historic ambiance.
Amenities & Layout
Bedroom (The Old Workshop) The apartment features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The main bedroom is located facing the quiet inner courtyard and features a queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) with two separate 80 cm mattresses for optimal comfort.
Connecting Room with Sleeping Area Additional sleeping arrangements are located in a connecting room. This area links the living area (separated by a door) with the bathroom, guest WC, main bedroom, and the exit to the courtyard.
Bunk Bed: The two beds in the bunk bed measure 0.90 x 2.00 m, making them suitable for adults as well. The upper bed is equipped with a safety rail and is accessed via a library ladder.
Sleeping Loft: A third sleeping spot is located on a sleeping loft above the bathroom. This mattress also measures 0.90 x 2.00 m.
Note: Towels and bed linen are included and provided.
Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary needs:
Induction stove and oven
Coffee and espresso machine
Kettle and toaster
Refrigerator with a large freezer compartment
Living Area The living area, overlooking the small courtyard, is furnished with a comfortable couch and armchairs. The Smart TV offers a variety of channels (Waipu) as well as access to YouTube and media libraries.
Dining Area The large dining table faces the street and provides ample space for everyone. A highlight is the oak windowsill in the former shop window—a wonderful spot to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of the Old Town.
Courtyard In the small inner courtyard, you will find a large wooden table with 5 chairs.
Heating The apartment features sleek, polished screed flooring throughout, which is warmed by a modern underfloor heating system.
Guest Access & Parking
Parking The apartment comes with one (1) free parking space located on the neighboring property across the street.
Important: The driveway is restricted to cars with a maximum width of 2.30 m and a height of 2.00 m.
If you are arriving with more than one car, please use the surrounding parking options, such as the paid parking garage diagonally opposite.
Check-in Arrival is completely flexible via self-check-in from 4:00 PM onwards. You will receive a PIN code for the front door, and the apartment key is located in a key safe in the hallway.
Other Important Notes
Smoking: This is a non-smoking apartment. However, you may smoke in the inner courtyard, provided you are considerate of our upstairs tenants (please ensure their windows are closed).
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Sustainability & Safety: We use green electricity. The apartment is equipped with state-of-the-art Nest smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Internet: The house has a Gigabit internet connection—fast Wi-Fi is included.
For Families: A travel cot and high chair are available upon request for a small fee.
