As well as city culture in Bonn or boat trips on the Rhine to Cologne or Koblenz.

Centrally located on the edge of the forest with access to the Rheinsteig, endless hiking possibilities in the Siebengebirge and the Westerwald Nature Park, vantage points within walking distance with breathtaking views (e.g. the Erpeler Ley or the Drachenfels), the possibility of extensive mountain bike tours, as well as the proximity and excellent connections to Bonn, Cologne, Koblenz and Düsseldorf with endless cultural offers and gastronomy, make up the charm of the location. The south-facing hillside location with its own terrace on a former vineyard invites you to explore the vineyards and winegrowers in the immediate vicinity. Situated above Erpel and Unkel, the two enchanted half-timbered villages are waiting to be discovered by you. The nearby Rhine promenade is ideal for long walks along the river and offers enchanting little bays on the banks as well as the opportunity to stop for refreshments. The Rhine can easily be crossed at several points by car or on foot using (car) ferries. This is also worth exploring. The railway station and an excellent bakery are a 10-minute walk away and all shopping facilities can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Numerous recommendable restaurants, including some nationally renowned ones, look forward to your visit.
