Tirano in summer is a paradise for outdoor lovers and breathtaking views. The UNESCO-listed Bernina Red Train departs just meters from your door. In summer, open carriages offer an immersive journey among glaciers to St. Moritz. Cyclists can enjoy over 100 km of flat bike paths along the Adda River. For the adventurous, legendary Giro d’Italia passes like Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo await. Hiking and wine tours let you walk among terraced vineyards and taste Alpine Nebbiolo in historic cellars. Bormio and its thermal baths are about 30 minutes away—perfect for relaxing or enjoying the cool of nature parks.



Winter Season: Skiing and Magical Atmosphere



When snow falls, Valtellina becomes a winter wonderland. Tirano is at the heart of top ski resorts: Aprica (great for families), Bormio (world-class slopes), and Livigno (duty-free shopping and freeride) are all close by. In winter, the Bernina Red Train offers spectacular views of frozen lakes and the snowy Bernina Pass. For relaxation, soak in Bormio’s hot springs while it snows outside.
