Both bedrooms have direct access to a beautiful garden area, to rest, read a book or simply “hear” the silence and appreciate the beautiful countryside. Also, at the entrance of the house, there is a table with chairs and a sun umbrella, so you can use the space outside for your convenience.

At Casa do Postigo, the divisions of the House converge to create a comfortable and cozy enviromment, and consist of:
– 2 bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom includes two twin beds. Next to the second room there is one regular bathroom with shower. Hairdryer, TV and wardrobes. Possibility to add a baby cot, upon request.
– 1 fully furnished and equipped kitchen, appliances and kitchen utensils (ceramic hob, oven, refrigetor with small freezer, dishwasher, microwave, blender, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster).
– Living room with a wood stove, round dining table, chairs, sofa, and television.

Serra da Estrela, one of the global Geoparks by UNESCO, has an incredible natural beauty and is a place of interest for anthropologists, historians and tourists. Stories lay on the stones”, visit the municipal´s most interesting places: Fraga da Pena, Lagar de Azeite da Casa do Cabo/ ethnographic museum, the wind mill, Algodres village – viewpoint, and others. Fornos de Algodres is known for the production of Serra da Estrela´s cheese, one of the most iconic Portugal´s cheese. Possible visit to the cheese factories. 12 historical villages to discover: Almeida, Belmonte, Castelo Mendo, Castelo Novo, Castelo Rodrigo, Idanha-a-Velha, Linhares da Beira, Marialva, Monsanto, Piódão, Sortelha & Trancoso.
