The Space



The Grande Plus category is the former operator’s residence and forms the heart of the property. It offers significantly more space than all other categories and is organized like a true apartment — not like a hotel unit.



The floor plan is clearly structured and includes two separate sleeping areas, allowing for privacy and retreat. This makes the category particularly suitable for families, couples traveling together, or longer stays with several guests.



Large windows provide abundant natural daylight and create an open atmosphere. The living and dining area is generously sized, allowing for shared living, dining, and relaxation.



The Kitchen



The kitchen is fully equipped and, above all, spacious. Designed as a Grande kitchen, it is intended for everyday use.

The kitchen allows comfortable self-catering, even for extended periods, and is an integral part of the living area.

The apartment features two separate sleeping areas with two queen-size beds (160 × 200 cm). This layout allows flexible use:

The beds are of high quality and offer integrated storage. The design remains calm, clear, and functional.



The Bathroom



The bathroom is separate, spacious, and timelessly designed. Light tiles, clean lines, and a large mirror ensure clarity and comfort. Natural daylight, complemented by even lighting, creates pleasant brightness. The bathtub is generously sized and comfortable for everyday use — and can of course also be used as a shower.



Outdoor Area



A special feature of the Grande Plus category is the private terrace.

It provides additional outdoor space and allows for dining, relaxation, or spending time outside independently of the shared areas of the house.



Guest Access:

Access is contactless via a smart lock system with an individual 6-digit code.

Check-in is possible at any time from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival.

Out of consideration for all guests, we kindly ask you to observe quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.



The Neighborhood:

Haus zum Wald is located in a quiet, established part of Bad Wörishofen, combining proximity to the town center with direct access to nature. The location allows for short distances without sacrificing tranquility.



The pedestrian zone of Bad Wörishofen can be reached within a few minutes on foot. Small specialty shops, cafés, bakeries, and restaurants shape the atmosphere — a manageable spa town with a well-preserved historic center. Everything essential is within easy walking distance: shopping, dining out, or enjoying a coffee in the afternoon.



Adjacent to the property lies the Kurpark Bad Wörishofen, one of the town’s central green spaces. This spacious park is a defining feature of the town and offers walking paths, gardens, Kneipp facilities, a barefoot trail, and numerous quiet seating areas. The Kurpark combines nature, movement, and relaxation right within the town. It is suitable for both short walks and longer stays outdoors.



The immediate surroundings of the house are noticeably quieter than the town center. There is no through traffic, no bars, and no event venues nearby. Instead, residential houses, gardens, and open spaces define the area. Depending on the apartment’s location, the view extends to the green garden, neighboring houses, or the open fields at the edge of town.



For families, the location offers an additional advantage: Allgäu Skyline Park, Bavaria’s largest amusement park, is only a few minutes away by car. The Bad Wörishofen thermal spa is also easily accessible, offering both quiet wellness areas and family-friendly swimming hours. The Kurpark, playgrounds, walking paths, and leisure activities are close together — without the house itself being part of a tourist hotspot.



Bad Wörishofen is shaped by the Kneipp tradition, abundant greenery, and a calm overall atmosphere. At the same time, its location in the Unterallgäu region makes it an ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding area — to Mindelheim, Kaufbeuren, or towards Lake Ammersee.

Getting Around:

By Car

For excursions in the surrounding area, traveling by car is the most convenient option. Bad Wörishofen is well connected via the A96 motorway (Munich–Lindau) and is an ideal starting point for day trips in the Unterallgäu region.



Popular destinations within a short driving distance include:

• Allgäu Skyline Park – approx. 5 km / 10 minutes

• Mindelheim (historic old town, Mindelburg Castle) – approx. 12 km / 15 minutes

• Kaufbeuren – approx. 16 km / 20 minutes

• Memmingen (old town, airport) – approx. 35 km / 30–35 minutes

• Landsberg am Lech – approx. 30 km / 25 minutes

• Ottobeuren Abbey – approx. 30 km / 30–40 minutes



Destinations such as Lake Ammersee can also be reached in around 40 minutes and are ideal for a day trip into nature.



Public Transport

Bad Wörishofen has its own train station with regular connections, including routes towards Augsburg. Bus services are available for travel within the town and to selected nearby destinations. Connections are reliable, though typical for a small spa town.



On Foot & by Bicycle

A car is not necessary for getting around within the town. Walks and short distances can easily be covered on foot.



Bad Wörishofen is also an excellent starting point for cycling and hiking tours. An extensive network of paths leads through meadows, forests, and the gentle hills of the Unterallgäu region. Particularly well known are the “Glückswege” (Happiness Trails) and the Kneipp Forest Trail, which combine movement and nature experiences. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented locally.
