“Tournesols” Guest Room with Shared Terrace, Garden, and Wi-Fi

Nestled at the foot of Polignac’s ancient fortress, this 18th-century farmhouse—now called La Gourmantine—blends into the village’s dramatic landscape of grey basalt and red-tiled roofs, overlooked by the fortress ruins. The estate reflects the legacy of the illustrious Polignac family.



After settling into your room, where contemporary touches meet carefully restored historic features like massive wooden beams, you’ll want to explore the donjon, ramparts, and scenic paths above the Puy basin, as well as nearby manor houses and the church.



The “Tournesols” room offers either a double bed or two singles (90 x 200 cm) on request. Located on the 2nd floor (stairs access), it features private WC reserved exclusively for this room, just outside the door.
