Holiday Apartment Am Belchen on a Farm with Riding Facilities

We offer you a fully modernized holiday apartment in a traditional Black Forest farmhouse first mentioned in 1650. Enjoy the tranquility of the Black Forest with or without your four-legged friend—dogs are very welcome! Dogs are allowed for an additional fee per night. You are also welcome to bring your horse. We offer stabling in a box, on pasture, or on our paddock for horses.



The apartment features a bathroom with toilet and shower, a living room with a typical stove perfect for warming up after a winter hike or ski tour, a spacious bedroom, and a large kitchen with a Swedish stove for extra warmth. During renovation, we preserved the apartment’s original charm while adding modern elements, so the authentic character remains.



The apartment entrance is right next to the young cattle barn. In the mornings, you can greet young cows and calves. Our farm is home to Hinterwälder cows and original Braunvieh of the old breeding line—both endangered breeds. Only about 3,500 animals of the old Braunvieh breeding line remain in Germany, and ten of them live on our farm. See our facilities for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you!



Check-out by 12 pm, check-in from 2 pm. Tradespeople on request—please contact the host via the booking platform before booking. If you do not arrange in advance, your booking cannot be guaranteed. Children up to 16 years are exempt from the additional charge.
