This carefully renovated artist’s house, dating from 1859, is situated in the centre of La Chaux-de-Fonds at 1,000 metres above sea level. The watchmaking capital and centre of Art Nouveau in Switzerland has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.

The flat is very centrally located in a quiet area, and many amenities are within walking distance: 3 minutes to public transport (bus), 3 to 5 minutes to various shopping facilities, 4 minutes to the Salle de musique and Théâtre L’heure Bleue, and 6 minutes to the Musée International d’horlogerie and the Musée des beaux-arts.

The flat is on the 2nd floor (no lift). It has two bedrooms, a living room, a new, modern, fully equipped kitchen and a balcony. The tastefully furnished flat covers around 75 square metres. The high-ceilinged rooms, with their old parquet floors and Art Nouveau tiled stove, exude the charm of the turn of the century. The small garden with seating area is a lovely place to relax. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed as we have a cat.
