Great weekend in a wonderful location - friendly host

I spent 3 nights with my parents in this great property. The location is ideal with a spectacular beach view and is centrally located in Menton, with many restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is well furnished, with 2 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 3 (4 with a pull-out bed in the smaller bedroom). The parking was super convenient. France and her son Eric were awesome hosts, flexible to our schedule changes, and quick at answering questions. I would pick this property again for my next trip to the French Riviera.

Great stay and view

The property features a nice terrace overlooking the promenade and the sea. The morning light and the sea view you get in the morning is amazing. The apartment is well equipped and soundproofed so you just get a very light traffic noise. There are a few restaurants, bakeries and a mini-market a few minutes walk, so you do not need the car for dining and groceries. Internet connection stable if only 1 device was connected to wifi. Great news for families with small children: Koaland fun park just across the street, a must go. The owners are very kind and waited for us despite we were blocked by a major traffic jam.

Hébergement extrêmement bruyant compte tenu de sa localisation. Situé à un angle d'avenue, feux tricolores côté chambre. Si bien qu'il n'est pas possible de s'endormir avant minuit à cause du bruit des voitures, scooters, motos. Le bruit de ces scooters, voitures reprend dès 6h du matin. Nous avons passé la plus mauvaise semaine. De plus, situé au rdc, nous entendions le bruit des résidents du hall de l'immeuble!!!!! A éviter comme appartement. Très cher pour ne pas s'être reposé. Nous regrettons !!!!!!!! Pas dormi durant la semaine. Dommage pour nous !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besser nicht

Die Lage der Wohnung zwischen 2 sehr stark befahrenen Strassen war sehr nervig weil extrem laut. Die Sauberkeit lässt sich sehr leicht stark verbessern. Der größte Minuspunkt ist allerdings, dass der Garagenparkplatz keine Lademöglichkeit für E-Fahrzeuge hat und ohne Rechnung gebucht werden muss

bon séjour pour l'emplacement et la vue

Dans l'ensemble tout est bien pour un cours séjour. Cependant le bruit nocturne est à noté pour le passage des véhicules devant l'appartement qui est en RDC et au niveau des feus. Isolation mauvaise des baies vitrées qui ferment très mal, dommage pour un tel emplacement. Ne pas avoir un gros véhicule si vous prenez le parking en sous-sol. Merci à Eric pour son accueil.

Bel appartement très agréable avec toutes les commodités donnant sur la mer et le lever du soleil avec vue magnifique. La propriétaire est charmante, très agréable et à l'écoute du moindre problème. Un large choix de destination entre mer et montagne et bien sûr à 3 kms de la frontière Italienne sans oublier la visite du vieux menton magnifique. Nous avons passé une semaine en famille formidable.

Séjour magnifique!

Maison très belle, grande et Propre, à 5 minutes du centre en voiture. La vue est magnifique et on peut profiter de cela avec la terrasse presente. France et son fils Éric ont été très agréable du début à la fin de notre séjour et je les remercie beaucoup. À refaire!

Tout était parfait même si je n'ai pas mis des notes maximales partout

Un accueil chaleureux avec une bouteille de pétillant en guise de bienvenue et de précieux renseignements pour notre séjour la voiture n'a pas bougé du fait que les bus pour Monaco et Nice ont un arrêt à 50 m de la location

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen/Absolutely not recommended Bei der Buchung dieser Unterkunft haben wir uns auf die zumeist guten Bewertungen verlassen sowie auf den Hinweis, dass die Wohnung modern und schallisoliert ist. Nichts davon trifft zu. Das Apartment ist alt, muffig und sehr karg eingerichtet. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles sehr schmutzig. Das Bad war nicht geputzt, ganze Haarbüschel fanden sich im Abfluss. Unsere Fusssohlen waren schwarz vor Dreck. Die Besitzer haben uns Putzmittel übergeben, damit wir selber reinigen können (!). Zudem liegt die Wohnung direkt an einer viel befahrenen Strasse und gleich bei einer Ampel, an der sämtliche Fahrzeuge und Motorräder mit Vollgas starten. An Schlaf und einem gemütlichen Aufenthalt auf dem Balkon ist nicht zu denken. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern dort, sie haben sich sogar bei geschlossenen Fenstern ab dem Lärm erschrocken. Mit den Besitzern liess sich nicht reden. Nach zwei Tagen sind wir erleichtert ausgezogen. Wir würden diese Wohnung absolut nicht empfehlen. Absolutely not recommended When booking this accommodation, we relied on the mostly good ratings and on the fact that the apartment is modern and soundproofed. None of this is true. The apartment is old, musty and very poorly furnished. On our arrival everything was very dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned, whole tufts of hair were found in the drain. Our soles were black with dirt. The owners gave us cleaning supplies so that we could clean ourselves (!). In addition, the apartment is directly on a busy road and right at a traffic light where all vehicles and motorcycles start at full throttle. Sleep and a comfortable stay on the balcony is not to be thought of. We were there with two small children, they were frightened even with closed windows from the noise. We couldn't talk to the owners, they had no understanding. After two days we moved out relieved. We would absolutely not recommend this apartment.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet appartement très clair et bien agencé, dans un bel immeuble situé sur l'avenue du front de mer. Pas très loin du centre, il permet de tout faire à pied (courses, visites, corso pour le carnaval). Le parking en sous sol est un plus. La vue est magnifique à partir d'une belle terrasse. Les propriétaires sont par ailleurs des personnes très affables qui ont mis à notre disposition linge à volonté, produits d'entretien, etc... et ont fait le nécessaire pour que notre séjour se passe le plus agréablement possible.

grosse déception appartement très bruyant, donnant directement sur une route très passante. odeurs désagréables dans l'entrée et les chambres. Nécessité de fermer une partie des volets sur le salon donnant directement sur la route.. et surtout, présence d'un échaffaudage ocultant totalement la vue sur la mer, avec présence non signalée des ouvriers ! Nous sommes repartis 2 jours avant.

Across the street from the ocean.

The apartment was comfortable for an eight day stay. There is ample space, the bed is comfortable, the room can be darkened for sleep. There is a second bedroom with a single bed. As we were only two people, we used that room to keep our suitcases and clothes out of the way.There are lots of dishes in the kitchen so that you can have a few meals before you need to use the dishwasher. The bathroom is modern with a good supply of towels. We did not have a car, but there is parking available in the underground garage. Ms Bergel kindly picked us up at the train station (which is about a 15 minute walk away) upon our arrival. She was quick to respond to our requests for little items that were lacking in the flat. The only thing that couldn't be worked out was a problematic wi-fi signal which worked for only the first couple of days. We did not press the issue, and found wi-fi signals at the Tourist Office. We did wear earplugs at night because the apartment is located between two major roads, at an intersection. Thus, there is the traffic sound, especially of the many noisy motorbikes that stop and start at the intersection. For us, the positive of being right beside the ocean with a view from the living room was greater than the negative of the road noise. We would stay there again. There is a concierge in the apartment block who has regular hours and who is willing to help one out. The building has easy access and it feels totally safe and secure. There are little grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Across the street, in the direction away from the ocean, is a beautiful, peaceful garden with paths to wander, many benches, beautiful plantings. Also, kiddy corner from the apartment building is a children's amusement park. We had a good time using the apartment as our base to explore the area using the very affordable buses and the convenient trains. Thank you, France, for your welcome and your help.

En location pour 1 mois, nous avons eu 1 accueil très agréable du propriétaire, très à l'écoute. Appart. très bien situé, avec vue sur mer, confortable, lumineux et fonctionnel. Vacances agréables pas besoin de voitures pour les visites, arrêt de bus à 100 m de l'appart. (tarif correct) ex. 1,50 euros pour aller à Nice. Ville très agréable par rapport au climat en cette période. APPARTEMENT CONSEILLE.

TRES BEL APPARTEMENT

nous avons été accueillis par des propriétaires charmants. L'appartement est très bien situé, et très ensoleillé de plus il est très bien chauffé ce qui est très appréciable en hiver. nous avons passé une semaine très agréable et nous reviendrons! Famille Saby
