Welcome to Vetehuset - Plantera, a stunning studio designed by Victoria and Brian Freeman, located on the second floor of a building on the National Register of Historic Places.

Living Area: A light-filled room with a cozy sofa, unusual art by a local artist, and a Smart TV with Hulu+Live TV (no ads). High-speed Gigabyte internet is provided.
Workspace: A dedicated workspace is available in the vestibule, perfect for planning your day or remote work.
Sleeping Area: Rest comfortably on a king-size bed with a Casper mattress, cleverly separated from the living area for added privacy.
Kitchen: A fully-equipped kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances, a quiet dishwasher, ample counter space, and a dining table for four.
Bathroom: A sumptuous bathroom featuring a large, barrier-free walk-in shower and a separate door for the sink area for extra privacy.
Sustainability: The apartment is insulated with recycled blue jeans, heated/cooled with high-efficiency electric heat pumps, and features Energy Star appliances and low-flow fixtures.

Swedish Get Away

We love Lindsburg! It was a great location for shopping and exploring this sweet little town. Property was extraordinary and we loved being able to cook in the kitchen or hop downstairs to grab a coffee and Swedish treats!

A Marvelous Place!

We could not have been more pleased and are already trying to determine when we can return. This loft is perfectly located, is beautifully and fully furnished, clean and a very comfortable king-sized bed. How great to be right on Main Street of this welcoming town. Highly recommend!

Quiet second floor deluxe studio apartment in downtown Lindsborg, KS

Covered parking. Elevator and stairs to apartment. Security keypad. Super secure. Full kitchen with brand new appliances, including washer and dryer. Very tastefully designed space. Very comfortable king sized bed. Big bathroom and shower. Lots of storage space. Hide a bed also serves as couch too. Two other chairs for TV viewing. Kitchen table for dining and work area. Air conditioning was needed during our stay and that worked very well.

Nice location

Main street access was a plus. Easy to go back and forth to the room after a little shopping. Nice friendly town. Elevator was very helpful too with luggage.

Right in the Heart of Lindsborg

We enjoyed this rental as our home base while exploring the Lindsborg area. Can't think of anything it was missing for our stay. Elevator makes it accessible and easy to load in and out. We fit two bicycles and us in it at one time! We used the front stairs a lot to be able to just step onto Main Street. Close to dining and attractions. We walked all over town from here. Laundry set up was big help. Appreciated the personal contact with info before we arrived and communication during our stay.

Love this rental, second stay

This is the second time staying here. I will always check to see if this rental is available when we come over to visit our son before I check anywhere else. Super clean and has everything we need for our stay. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice cream is all within literally a few steps away.

Hello, my name is Jim. As you may have guessed, I am a big fan of Lindsborg, KS for its friendly townsfolk and business owners. Perhaps also because, according to DNA test results, I’m 80% Swedish!
I was the first vacation rental owner in the area and my properties began as a kind of experiment to see if they would catch on. Fortunately, they did and my properties are now warmly embraced by the local community.
While I don’t live in Lindsborg, I have been welcomed into the community as a “local” who just happens to live elsewhere.
When I’m not tending to my vacation rentals, you will find me working in my commercial real estate business, where I own and rent commercial spaces for small businesses and apartments for local residents.
In my leisure time, I particularly enjoy genealogy (not a big surprise there!), traveling, and hiking.
I look forward to welcoming you to my properties in Little Sweden USA!
