Nice house and big garden

Very lovely house whit big garden, house was clean and well equipped, Owner was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay. House stays quit cool even the out temperature was over 32 C. So over all very happy.

Wonderful House in wonderful landscape

We spent five great days in Maria Emilias house. She is great as host and always available. Great landscapes around and only 15 min to Orvieto by car. The house has everything and the pizza oven outside works great! I can absolutely recommend.

House in Lubriano

Nice property in rural setting, great base for area activities. Less than a 5 minute drive to the quaint village. Wish we had more time to explore the area. House was very clean. Emi was very helpful and responsive.

Lubriano farm house

Our stay in Lubriano was very nice. Our host was very nice and was available if we had any issues. She also gave us helpful suggestions that we appreciated. Remember, this is an old farm house with a steep flight of stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom with a shower. The setting is beautiful, and Lubriano is about a 20 minute beautiful walk. We thoroughly enjoyed the town, the people, and our host.

A true Italian Countryside experience.

My family enjoyed our stay in Lubriano, not as close to the village as expected; and we never found the beautiful water scenes depicted on the website. The price was good and the owner a lovely person. The cherry tree produced lots of delicious fruit for us. We would return to this property.

Charming country house

We had a wonderful week in this authentic country house. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty and comfort of this well restored property. It was in a quiet and peaceful location but close to a village with a friendly bar and easy access to shops. We spent a lot of time in the garden, having breakfast and dinner and our granddaughter loved the space to play. The house was comfortable and well equipped and our hosts made us very welcome. We were able to easily reach many of the beautiful places to see in Umbria. Highly recommended for a happy family holiday.

Nice cottage in a wonderful setting

We (2 adults, 4 kids) spent a wonderful 2.5 weeks in this beautiful cottage. The property is very clean and well kept. Large garden with some trees for shade and lots of space for the kids to run around. Quiet surroundings but yet close to Bolsena lake (20 mins. by car). Strategically located to explore all the beautiful cities and sights in northern Lazio and Umbria. 1.5h by car or train to Rome. Very friendly hosts! Highly recommended. We´d love to come back.

Magical place

This is a wonderful old house in the middle of the countryside - so quiet and peaceful. It is surrounded by fields with a lovely arbour for sitting outside. The kitchen and dining room have every thing you could think of and more, it is like living in a family home, not a holiday house. The steps are a bit narrow and steep, as you would expect in such an old house, but it feels really special. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy it enough, so don’t plan to go out every day, you can really relax here. Emmy communicates well and was very helpful. I can’t recommend it enough.

Alles perfekt…

….wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und eine traumhafte Woche hier verbracht, Maria und ihr Mann haben uns herzlich begrüßt und uns viele schöne Tipps in der Umgebung gegeben. Unserem Hund hat der nahegelegenen See am besten gefallen 😊 wer eine ruhige Zeit fernab von Massentourismus sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Lieben Dank nochmals an Maria….wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ort der Ruhe

Wir haben uns in Marias Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war schnell unser Zuhause geworden. Maria ist sehr entgegenkommend. Fragen wurden auch schnell über WhatsApp beantwortet. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme, ist bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtet. Vermisst haben wir nichts, außer einem Toaster. Für leicht gehbehinderte Menschen oder Kleinstkinder finde ich das Haus nicht so geeignet wegen der recht hohen Stufen im Haus. Tagsüber erkundeten wir das grüne Land mit seinen schönen Dörfern und kleineren Städten. Es lohnt sich. Civita di Bagnoregio liegt fast vor der Haustür. Am Bolsena See zwischen Gradoli und Borghetto fanden wir auch mit Hund gute entspannende Bademöglichkeiten. Unweit davon ist die Trattoria Giggetto direkt am See sehr zu empfehlen. Morgens frühstückten wir im Garten , abends kochten ( Gewürze, Öl, Essig alles da) wir öfter und saßen lange draußen und unser Hund war immer mit dabei. Nachbarn sind recht weit weg. Wir fühlten uns einfach frei. Der Reisezeitpunkt mit Hund war optimal. Es war noch nicht superheiß und Touristen sind überschaubar von Mitte bis Ende Juni. Vielen lieben Dank Maria noch mal für die schöne Zeit!

Für jeden der ein authentisches altes Ferienhaus mit toller Ausstattung und in sehr ruhiger Lage sucht und auf Pool und Spülmaschine verzichten kann, ist dieses Ferienhaus nur zu empfehlen. Eine tolle Gegend in der es viel zu entdecken gibt, touristisch noch ziemlich verschlafen, ein toller Badesee in der Nähe. Was will man mehr für einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns mit vielen Infos und tagesaktuellen Tipps versorgt!

A wonderful place

We spend a week in the villa. The house is pretty and confortable. There is a garden useful for the children. The owner is especially very kind and available. She gave us lots of interesting informations about the surroundings and allowed us to delay our departure by a few hours. I strongly recommended this rental for families

De woning is heel charmant en goed gelegen. We werden gastvrij ontvangen in een kraaknet en fris huis. Lago Di Bolsena ligt op een 20 minuten afstand. Zeker een mooie plek om te vertoeven.

Gemütliches Landhaus in einer wunderschönen Umgebung

Ein wunderschönes Landhaus, idyllisch und absolut ruhig gelegen in einem Weiler abseits der Touristenmassen. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt und konnten uns hier wunderbar erholen. Das Haus ist sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist riesig und sehr gepflegt. Einfach perfekt zum Entspannen (ein heiß begehrter Platz war die Hängematte im Schatten unter dem Kirschbaum) und auf jeden Fall genug Platz für Kinder, die sich austoben wollen. Maria Emilia und ihr Mann haben uns herzlich empfangen und haben uns wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung gegeben. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Une maison très agréable dans un cadre superbe

La maison est proche de Lubriano mais à la campagne donc très calme. Elle est bien équipée avec un grand jardin et la possibilité de manger dehors ou d’y lire tranquillement. A partir de cette maison il est facile d’accéder aux multiples sites et villes des environs. L’accueil est chaleureux, les renseignements précieux pour aller dîner ou visiter. Maria Émilia est très prévenante. Une adresse à retenir.

Fast ein Geheimtipp/almost an insider tip!

Wir verbrachten mit unseren 2 Kindern drei Wochen in dem wunderschönen Haus von Maria Emilia. Das Haus ist so wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat alles was man braucht dort, vor allem sehr viel Platz. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Man erreicht in weniger als einer halben Stunde so viele spannende, schöne oder erholsame Orte. Rom ist nur anderthalb Stunden weit weg. Und der Bolsena See und seine Umgebung ist wirklich fast noch ein Geheimtipp. Unfassbar sauberes Wasser, angenehme Badetemperaturen und vor allem ruhige Strände im Vergleich zu den "Katastrophen" am Mittelmeer. An Kultur ist die Region so reich beschenkt, dass wir in den drei Wochen nicht annähernd alles besuchen konnten, was wir wollten. Umbrien, das Latium und die südliche Toskana liegen quasi vor der Haustür. Wer also einen Italienurlaub genießen will ohne die Hektik der überfüllten Strände und die Natur und die Schönheit der Toskana sucht, der kann sich getrost mit Maria Emilias tollem Haus befassen! Und zu ihr selbst: sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, immer mit Rat zur Seite wenn nötig. We spent three weeks with our 2 children in the beautiful house of Maria Emilia. The house is to be seen as on the pictures. We felt very comfortable there. It has everything you need, especially a lot of space. The location is fantastic. You can reach so many exciting, beautiful or relaxing places in less than half an hour. Rome is only an hour and a half away. And the Bolsena Lake and its surroundings is really almost an insider tip. Incredibly clean water, pleasant bathing temperatures and above all quiet beaches in comparison to the "catastrophes" at the Mediterranean Sea. The region is so rich in culture that we were not able to visit nearly everything we wanted during the three weeks. Umbria, Lazio and southern Tuscany are virtually on our doorstep. Thus, those who want to enjoy a holiday in Italy without the hectic pace of the crowded beaches and the nature and beauty of Tuscany can confidently deal with Maria Emilia's great house! And to her herself: very nice and helpful owner, always with advice to the side if necessary. Mille grazie, Maria Emilia!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit so viel Charme und Platz, riesen Garten..der ideale Ort zum Entspannen

Die Bilder und Beschreibungen halten genau, was sie versprechen, herrlich viel Platz, im Garten und im Haus, das die Kühle hält; ideal an so heißen Tagen, wie gerade. Unglaublich viel Charme, man fühlt sich gleich wie zu hause. Super eingerichtet, viel und schönes Geschirr, es ist alles da was man braucht vom Mocca Kännchen über Gewürze, Zucker, Öl.. Kochzubehör, .. Für eine Familie wie die unsere, mit Kindern, die Platz zum Toben und spielen brauchen, ideal...Hängematte, Liegestühle unter großen schattigen Bäumen...das war für uns ein Urlaub, den wir gern wiederholen möchten:) gern kommen wir wieder! Außerdem liegt das Haus sehr nahe zu allen möglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Bolsena/Bolsenasee (sehr schöner Badesee besonders zw. Bolsena und Capodimonte), Viterbo, Montefiascone, die Thermalquellen von Saturnia ( gerade mal 1,25 Std. weg, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall)! Und last but not least, eine super nette Vermieterin, sehr hilfsbereit mit tollen Tipps, mit der man englisch kommunizieren kann:) Thanks so much for all, dear Maria Emilia! We had such a great stay and love to come back:)

A wonderful place for a relaxing break

We were four friends staying in the house and loved every minute of it. There is plenty of outdoor space, an oven where we made pizza, a huge chestnut tree, fig trees. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cosy.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison très confortable loin des grandes villes et de la foule. La maison de campagne de Lubriano of Emi (lia) et Sandro Meschini. est très agréable, confortable avec des grands lits tous moelleux. Les propriétaires sont adorable et extrêmement accueillants. Le lieu est très très calme, la maison à tout le confort nécessaire linge de maison et draps compris. Après nos visites nous avons bien apprécié la zénitude. Mille mercis pour votre accueil.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

It was my granny's house in the countryside. We spent there many weekends, with friends and guests or just working to restore it or....because in the country you always have something to do!

この宿泊施設の特徴

We have preferred to keep the typical features of the old farmhouse . There is a large fireplace in the kitchen and a small wood oven in the outer wall of the house, where several times we have tried to make bread.
