Taransay Cottageは2ベッドルームの独立した1階建てのシャレースタイルの家で、Taransay島を含むHarrisのビーチや丘陵地帯を魅了しています。 ダブルサイズベッド1台とツインサイズベッド1台（ベッドと折りたたみベッドもご利用いただけます）ダブルシャワー付きのバスルーム（バスはありませんが、小さなお子様用の設備もあります）設備の整ったキッチン、ダイニングルーム、アームチェア2脚これは通常、家の中で最も人気のある席になります）からコーヒーの眺めを取ることができます。 広々としたリビングルームには、快適な座席、より素晴らしい眺め、本やゲーム、大きなテレビがあります。 家は最初のビーチから歩いて5分のところにあり、徒歩でアクセスできるものは数多くあります。 村には公共交通機関が頻繁に運行され、訪問しているモバイルショップがあり、海岸から海産物や地元産物を売るキャビンもあります。

Very well equipped and cosy cottage. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great views and a short walk to a lovely nearby beach. Nearby Croft 36 a must visit with lovely bakery products and filled rolls. Don’t miss a visit to AS Apothecary just along the road in Leverburgh.Highly recommend this cottage.

A wonderful warm, well equipped, comfortable cottage with lovely views from the big windows. Beautiful beaches a 10 minute walk away. The bread shed in the village to get fresh rolls, pizza and ready meals. Complete peace. Lovely

Taransay Cottage is a dream! Our second stay here. We feel so at home with everything in the cottage needed to ensure we have the best time no matter the weather. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to the most beautiful beaches. Stunning sunsets. Great to order freshly made pizza from Croft 36 just across the road!A few minutes drive to have the best fish and chips washed down with Great beer and wine at The Brewery on The Pier Leverburgh. Played 9 holes golf on what must be one of the most scenic golf courses. Walked a different beach every day.Only slight issue was the matress was a bit too soft for us and we didnt ever manage to work out how to turn on the radiator in the bathroom for drying towels but there is a tumble dryer so it wasn't a real issue. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you.

Super home in south west HarrisWe're repeat visitors to this lovely house and it never disappoints. We were delighted to see that the bedrooms have had a big upgrade this year with new (very comfy) beds, bedding and carpets. As said in our last review; the house is warm, comfortable, well equipped, quiet and in a super location. Would thoroughly recommend. It's an easy walk to beautiful beaches and the Temple and an easy drive to even more beautiful beaches. Beautiful views across the Northton salt flats to the Harris hills/Luskentyre. 5 minute drive to Leverburgh for shop/restaurant/ferry to Berneray.

The house was tidy and clean. We had a lot of space. The views from the windows were magnificent. The beach nearby was great for a swim and all the others around also. We had a great holiday also because of the emazing weather.

3rd visit and we still love it!

Just visited Taransay Cottage for the 3rd time and we've enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. It's a beautiful cottage, great location, near to beautiful beaches. We can't fault it and look forward to returning soon.

This house is in a great position with wonderful views. It is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and has good drying facilities for those wet days that can happen! Great for beach walks and bird watching from the house. We would like to return.

This is a great property, set in a small coastal village with amazing views over the salt marsh and sea beyond which is teaming with seabirds and waders. It is spacious, clean and has every home comfort you would need. The owners have gone out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A great base for exploring the island!

This was our 2nd stay here, as this cottage has completely ruined us for staying anywhere else. Beautiful, comfortable furnishings, a fully kitted kitchen, unbelievable views from everywhere in the house, particularly the dining room/window seats and the living room. Northton's beach is @5-10 minutes' walk from the cottage door, and there is a lovely little place called Croft 36 5-10 minutes' walk up the road that does a small but delicious selection of homemade butteries (Hebridiean pastry, just divine), hot and cold seafood sandwiches, veg and meat pasties, various pies, and made-to-order pizza. It is well worth the long journey to get here - a beautiful place. The owner was response to messages and has family in the area, who were extremely helpful with queries and easy to reach if you have any questions about anything. We can't reommend it highly enough. Thank you for another superb stay!

Love Harris and the property location is ideal for us. Check in was easy and smooth. Kitchen facilities are good and there’s plenty utensils, but feel new oven/hob may be needed soon!

Thank you for the review. I am glad you enjoyed the location and layout of the house, it does have a great view from every window, its all too easy to sit in and look out and not get out to enjoy the scenery if you're not careful. I am always impressed by how bright it is and yet has a cosy feel. We are enjoying a stay here ourselves at the moment and it always does feel like coming home.

We loved staying at Taransay Cottage very much. Beautiful and well equpped house with breathtaking views. Stunning beaches reachable by short walks, we spotted eagles and dolphins.

Remarkable

Beautiful setting looking out on the sea and magnificent hills. Inside it was spacious and very well equipped. There were just two of us but it would be perfect for a family.

Hi I am Donna and I was born and raised in Northton and still have family living in the village. Taransay Cottage is my home but at the moment we cannot live here full time due to work. Harris is a special place; the beaches, wildlife, sea, hills and dramatic weather combine to make a unique outdoor experience. Also the people are very welcoming and there are great places to eat and drink.

There are many good holiday lets in Harris. This is slightly different as we set it up to be our home but as we currently work on the mainland sadly we spend too little time here. So it is equipped and furnished as a home not as a holiday let which means it is a very comfortable place to stay. It is also in a fantastic location and there are few properties that have such a great view from almost every seat.

The are few house here or anywhere else that have such wonderful views over beaches sea and hills. The dramatic weather means that the view is constantly changing and can become very absorbing. The 2 seats in the dining room soon become the preferred spot in the house as you enjoy a coffee whilst planning the day or perhaps relaxing with a glass of wine after a full day of enjoying the great outdoors that Harris has to offer.
