Can’t beat the location, a two minute walk to the village gondola, restaurants, and shops! The two ski lockers were extremely convenient.
The unit was as-advertised, though the pictures don’t show how dated the interior really is… dingy carpet, worn furniture, and old/well worn kitchen stuff (pots, pans, and that sort of stuff.) We knew going in that the spiral staircase would be challenging, and it was indeed. As two able-bodied adults and teenagers, it wasn’t really an issue, but definitely would be for many others. It wouldn’t be practical to go outside, take the elevator down, and then come in on the other floor, but that would be necessary if someone couldn’t navigate a very steep tight spiral staircase. Also, the unit really is two proper/enclosed bedrooms, and an open loft. Again, this wasn’t a problem for us, but for someone seeking three proper bedrooms, this wouldn’t be the unit for you.
And finally, while not an issue with this particular unit, the Fireside complex is pretty gross… The hot tub was very murky, the interior staircases smelled absolutely awful, and the interior carpet was extremely old, dirty & worn. The walls between units are paper thin, so we could hear the people next-door as if they were sitting right in our living room. I don’t think we would stay in this complex again.
