A taste of heaven

This is an amazing location! We loved being able to see the ocean, play tennis/pickle ball, swim in the pool, walk down to the beach, and walk to the food cart village. The kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, etc... There was plenty of room in the house and I would highly recommend this house for large groups. We will remember this week for a long time to come! There were a few small items that could have made this stay better: The towels Smelled bad, especially the pool towels. They were washed with too much soap, didn't dry all the way, and have mildew in them. Suggest replacing all of them. Add a little white vinegar to the wash mix. Consider buying a dryer for the guests to use. Have some pickleball paddles and balls. Consider fixing the large divot in the court. A small fridge down by the pool would be excellent. More wine openers - There were 2, but one was totally busted. The description said a max of 4 cars. There was enough room for 8 cars. Hot water heater in the kitchen was broken and dripping.

Amazing villa in beautiful location

Really enjoyed our stay here, the villa is so spacious with lots of seating areas inside and out. The view for sunsets is amazing.

Aufenthalt in der Villa in Colares

Die Lage: Die Villa liegt sehr zentral und mit öffentlichem Verkehrsmittel erreicht man Lissabon, Sintra und Cascais sehr gut. Vom Haus erreicht man den Strand direkt über einen neuen Holzweg. Der Strand ist sauber und es gibt viele kleine Restaurants in denen man sehr gut isst. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Sportmöglichkeiten hat es viele. Am Strand gibt es einige Surf-Schulen, bei denen man auch nur die Ausrüstung mieten kann. Die gemietete Ausrüstung war einwandfrei. Die Villa: Das Haus an sich wäre sehr schön. Leider gab es einige Mängel, die den Aufenthalt trübten. Das Haus wurde für max. 16 Personen ausgeschrieben. Wir waren 15 erwachsene Personen. Für diese Anzahl an Personen ist das Haus nicht geeignet. 2 Personen mussten in einer „Art“ Kiste mit Matratze am Boden und eine Person auf einem Klappbett schlafen. Beim Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss hat der Abfluss in der Dusche nicht funktioniert. Es gab dauernd Überschwemmungen und man konnte sich nicht richtig duschen. Des Weiteren hatte die Badezimmertüre im Erdgeschoss keinen Türgriff und konnte nicht geschlossen werden, wie auch bei weiteren Zimmern die Türen nicht richtig funktionierten. Die Küche ist sehr gross, leider ist der Kochherd nicht geeignet zum Kochen für 15 Personen. Das Wasser für die Spagetti hat nach über einer Stunde noch nicht gekocht, da auch noch andere Kochfelder in Betrieb waren. Die angetroffenen Probleme haben wir dem Vermieter sofort gemeldet. Betreffend dem Kochherd meinte er, wir sollten eine neue Gasflasche für die Küche besorgen und das auf eigene Rechnung. Anscheinend ist das Gas nicht im Mietpreis enthalten. Für uns völlig fremd, da wir schon öfters Häuser gemietet hatten, mussten aber noch nie Gas für die Küche extra bezahlen. Beim Öffnen der Schränke gab es sehr viele offene Essenspackungen (Cornflakes, Kekse, Chips, Babynahrung etc.) und Flaschen von diversen Vormietern, die nicht entsorgt wurden. Das war ziemlich eklig. Das Geschirr musste vor der ersten Benutzung ebenfalls abgewaschen werden, da einige Gläser, Bestecke und Teller ungewaschen im Schrank versorgt wurden. Das WLAN / Internet im Erdgeschoss und im Untergeschoss war sehr gut, aber unten am grossen Pool und im obersten Zimmer hatten wir keinen Empfang. Sehr schade, dass das Haus nicht mehr gepflegt wird. Es wäre ein sehr schönes und in dieser Gegend gibt es auch einiges zu sehen und zu erleben.

Because we didn’t find any companies that provided a complete service on the Lisbon coast, we took care of all the details for our guests to have the best satisfaction.

The idea attracted some neighbors and friends who wanted to be part of our new project.
Thus, we built our local network of hosts, maintenance, cleaning, and laundry providers.

We proudly and with great enthusiasm founded Allure Villas thanks to the owners’ involvement, our satisfied guests’ feedback, and word of mouth.

Today, we operate more than 200 units along the beautiful Portuguese shorelines. We keep selecting unique properties that cover all accommodation types.

Our villas are handpicked and negotiated based on exclusive contracts, subsequently inspected and photographed by our local teams, seeking to maintain a high standard according to our guests’ needs and expectations.

The villa is situated 14 km from Sintra, and 13 km from the cosmopolitan Cascais, with its marina, entertainment, shopping, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, delightful terraces by the sea, not to mention the buzz of a very active nightlife. Estoril, that has the biggest casino in Europe, is only 15 km away. Lisbon, the capital with its cosmopolitan atmosphere, monuments, restaurants and Fado, is only 40 min. away. Guincho, with its surrounding natural park is highly recommended for beach & sport holidays. But along the coast the choice of other beaches is endless. Guincho is famous for water sport activities, white sandy family beaches, all within a 20 min drive. The bus stop is just 150 m away from the villa (Sintra and Cascais) and the railway station is 14 km away.
For golfers, there are 6 golf courses, 20 minutes away:
1) Quinta da Marinha
Set amongst beautiful pine trees and stretching down to Guincho beach, it has some of the most majestic sceneries in Portugal. Its hole number 13, a Par 4 descending to the sea, is a picture postcard of Portuguese golf.
2) Oitavos
It's the 1st Golf Course in Europe and the 2nd in the World to become a Certified Signature Sanctuary - Gold.
3) Penha Longa
Enjoys championship characteristics, an excellent level of maintenance and beautiful panoramic views over the Sintra mountain range.
4) Estoril
One of the oldest and best-known golf courses in Portugal. Many champions - including Max Faulkner and Seve Ballesteros - have walked the fairways of this course.
5) Quinta da Beloura
Fine views over the Sintra mountain range and a course surrounded by trees provide a very pleasurable game of golf.
6) Belas
Designed by Rocky Roquemore. Its eighteen holes extend over 6,128 metres for a Par 72.
