Villa Ginette, Le Morne Brabant

Villa Ginette is perfect with its own pool, an acre of garden and tropical trees, shrubs, flying foxes and spectacular views over more trees to the turquoise lagoon and blue sea beyond. The owner, Ginette très sympa and jolly.

A PERFECT RETREAT IN MAURITIUS

This property was probably one of the best of the many we have used through VRBO. The house is immaculate and is fully equipped with excellent fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and full digital satellite TV. The views are stunning, the pool is great and dinning is a real pleasure on the veranda. Add to all this such matters as proximity to great beaches, nearby superb supermarket and a selection of restaurants and you have an ideal holiday home. Our hostess Ginette did all she could to enhance our stay - thank you so much.

Sehr schöne und sehr geräumige Villa in Traumlage im Örtchen Le Morne.Die Kommunikation war schon im Vorfeld sehr gut . Wir haben sehr viele interessante Tips für die Anreise und die Umgebung erhalten. Der Empfang und spätere Kontakt mit Ginette war sehr nett. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Bad.Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich. Am schönsten allerdings ist die riesige Terrasse, die rund um das ganze Haus geht.Der Pool ist sehr schön.Der Ausblick zum Meer und zum Morne Brabant ist genial.Die Nachbarn sind weit genug weg, man hat wirklich absolute Privatsphäre. Mit dem Auto ist man in drei Minuten am Traumstrand von Le Morne.Sollten wir wieder nach Mauritius reisen möchten wir in jedem Fall wieder in der Villa Ginette wohnen.Danke für alles Ginette und Agnes.

Maison magnifique avec tous ce qu’on a besoin pour passer des vacances superbe (seule chose à penser – une douche extérieure?). Ginette est une hotesse chaleureuse. Mais la meilleure chose – et vraiment unique est la vue. Cette vue restera une mémoire incomparable.

Fantastic holiday property in Le Morne

Le Morne property is in an excellent location to explore the beautiful south west of Mauritius. Ginette welcomed us on arrival and had prepared a meal which was appreciated so much after a long flight. The property is immaculate and so clean. Emily, the maid, kept everything clean and tidy which was appreciated so much and her good manners and lovely smile were a good start to each day. We felt safe and secure here through out our stay. There is a well stocked supermarket nearby in La Gaulette and the restaurant, Wapalapam, just at the end of the lane is excellent. Le Morne has the most gorgeous beach which is so clean and safe for swimming. Having hired a car, it was easy to explore the Black River National Park, the beaches near Tamarin, the east Coast, Pamplemousse area with the beaches nearby and even Port Louis. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend this property without reservation. Thank you Ginette!

Perfect family stay!

The house is beautifully located with the ocean and Le Morne Montain view. The villa is super clean (cleaning lady came every day) and equipped with everything you need to have comfortable holiday. There is lots of chill out space around on the terrace with armchairs etc and a nice garden. Ginette (the owner) is super nice and helpful, she provided everything to make our stay more comfy (baby chair, crib, bath tube) with 2 small kids. We would definately recommend this place and this owner to everybody planning their vacation on the Island.

Almost everything was great, except the intruder we had, after that we felt a little scarred and we had to lock the doors all the time. But 5 min of a beautiful beach, 2 min from a Nice restaurant (WAPALAMA). Overall it was a Nice stay!

"Très bon séjour dans cette grande villa au magnifique jardin parfaitement entretenu. Le mobilier est un peu daté mais la maison est impeccable et l''entretien par la discrète Marie Noëlle La structure de la maison n''est pas idéale avec des enfants petits mais dormant dans leur propre chambre : la maison est conçue en 2 parties distinctes (jour - nuit). Les 3 chambres s''ouvrent uniquement sur la varangue (terrasse couverte). Il faut donc soit enfermer les enfants dans leur chambre, soit laisser ouvert la nuit. Pour les tous petits, un lit à barreau se trouve dans l''immense chambre parentale."

"Nous avons passé un séjour(trop court) dans cette très belle maison. J''ai pu retrouver toutes les sensations de l''ile Maurice que j''avais ressenties il y a quelques années lors de la découverte de l''ile. Le Morne est un endroit merveilleux pour les amoureux de la nature, du calme et des paysages uniques (vue spectaculaire depuis la maison sur la pointe du lagon). La maison est grande, très bien située, claire, ventilée naturellement pour le corps de batiment principal, climatisée dans les 3 chambres (qui possédent toutes leur salle de bain et WC) et présente plusieurs terrasses qui permettent de profiter du terrain entourant la maison. Le jardin est parfaitement entretenu et la piscine est sécurisée par une barrière pour les enfants (ce qui est rare sur l''ile). Les oiseaux seront vos compagnons le jour, les grenouilles et les geckos la nuit. Une voiture est indispensable (garage sous la terrasse principale) : vous etes au milieu d''un site sauvage au pied du Morne (attention pas de bars ni de discothèques). Le village de la Gaulette est à qques min et possède un petit supermarché tout neuf. La plage publique peut etre rejointe à pieds par les adultes. Le golf de l''Hotel le Paradis est juste au bas du chemin menant à la maison. Merci à Ginette la propriétaire pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et sa discrétion ainsi qu''à Marie-Noelle pour la propreté irréprochable de la maison. Nous reviendrons le plus tot possible !!!!"

"C'est notre 2ème voyage à Maurice. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans la maison de Ginette parfaitement entretenue et très bien située. Nous avons apprécié l'accès direct à Internet. Le jardin offre une grande variété de végétation. La piscine nous a permis de prendre 2 voire 3 bains par jour très bénéfiques. Ginette et Maxime sont des hôtes très attentifs et soucieux du confort de leurs locataires. Quant à Marie-Noëlle, nous ne pouvons que nous louer de son efficacité, de sa discrétion et de sa gentillesse. Nous n'oublierons jamais son poisson au cari de poissons. C'est un petit coin de paradis où nous aimerions revenir."

"We were very, very pleased with the villa. Everything was very clean, and maintained this way throughout our holiday by the very friendly and helpful maid and gardener. The villa is well equiped, with spacious interior rooms and a large veranda, pool area and parking. The view from the veranda and bedrooms is beautiful. The location is quiet in amongst other privately owned villas with a gated, security guarded entrance to the community of villas. A car is definitely needed in order to access shopping for groceries and to visit the island. Ginette and Max made us exremely welcome, taking time to ensure we were settled and had everything we needed, also keeping in touch during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there."

"Nous avons passé 2 semaines de rêve dans cette villa au Mornes. La maison est très spacieuse, les chambres impécables avec toutes leur douche et toilette, cuisine, séjour, terrasse sont très agréables. La maison est très propre et bien tenue, un clin d'oeil pour Marie-Noel qui nous a aussi préparé quelques petits plats locaux excellents. Nous reviendrons pour sûr avec plaisir !"
