Football weekend

Cozy cottage is a perfect name for this place. Shortened the drive from Texas to Fayetteville too. Minor snafu on check in was handled immediately by friendly host. Would stay again.

Perfect little cottage

Came to town for a family wedding. Prairie Grove had a lovely coffee shop, great antique stores, nice streets to walk. The cottage was clean and comfortable and a perfect place for a few days. We definitely stay there again. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Worked for our needs but had issues with the beds

property was cute but had some issues. the beds were not really acceptable for us (Seniors) one was extremely high off the the floor and presented issues even with the step ladder provided was not practical for short or older people with mobility and balance issues. Other bed was a very uncomfortable older inner-spring mattress that made us sore. Wife ended up sleeping in a recliner that was in the living room. Hosts were very friendly, communicative, but they really should look at updating the beds and make them lower for older and younger people and better quality. Also One small complaint was internet was underpowered and caused lots of buffering with the TV and also remote batteries were nearly dead so it was spootty if they would work or not. these kind of things can reall affect the pleasure of the stay. Thanks

Cozy cottage

Such a cute, cozy cottage. Reminded me of going to visit grandma, but with all the modern amenities, including wifi and Netflix. Great neighborhood; we felt safe and right at home.

Perfect Weekend in town

We rented this little cottage for the weekend of our son's wedding. We didn't want to intrude on my son and his now wife at their home so we rented this property. The biggest factor for us is always cleanliness of the property. This place was clean. Great communication and in a good neighborhood, and not far from anything Prarie Grove has to offer.

Less than satisfactory

This unit may have had 5* ratings when they first began being VRBO hosts, however that is the last time the photos were updated and possibly the last time the unit was cleaned. Upon entering we were greeted by the musty, moldy, mildew smell and then came the dust, grime and dead/live bugs. We did spend one evening because we were trying to convince ourselves it was ok, it wasn’t. Owners were very responsive and refund was satisfactory. I don’t think the property is up to industry standards. Cleaning supplies not locked up, bed bug kit in an unlocked cupboard, RAID bug spray under the sink-not locked up either. Dead and live bugs/spiders; dust on walls under vents, mold growing on the baseboards of the living room floor, a thick layer of dust under the recliner loveseat, an odorous recliner and one bed was so tall that a two-step ladder was provided to access the bed. I was embarrassed that I had recommended that my friend and I stay there. Needless to say, we found a hotel room for the remainder of our trip that was in pristine condition.

Location was perfect for us and a short walk to the cute downtown area. Magnolias coffee shop is great. Kara went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our stay in Prairie Grove at the cottage. The beds were very comfortable & we slept wonderfully. Kara was helpful & quick to respond when we had issues with our code to get in. She had some great recommendations on things to do in town. We wish we had more time to explore the area
