We very much enjoyed this year's autumn getaway. We explored Bayfield and Ashland counties with hikes along the georgeous Lakeshore Trail, up to St. Peter's Dome, and Juniper Rock. On Saturday, we stopped at Adventure Club Brewing, which is always a delight! The cabin itself is well-stocked, secluded, and cozy. We enjoyed two bonfires, saw countless shooting stars, and sipped on coffee while admiring the fall colors.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable! We appreciated having a full kitchen to make breakfast in each morning and the fresh flowers and gift on the table! We enjoyed the quiet of being tucked back in the woods. We got home late each night from exploring, so unfortunately we were too tired to enjoy the campfire, but the stars in the sky were an amazing sight to see as we entered the cabin! Thank you for sharing your North Woods cabin with us!

Cabin was cozy, clean and cute. Location was easy to find. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed during our stay to feel at home. There were six adults and 3 dogs and the space worked just fine. Owners are very nice and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Autumn Weekend Getaway

What a great place! The location is very remote and quiet, though the property is butt up to a neighbors path and is surrounded by dense woods so you’re somewhat stuck in the cleared out area. It is also used by the owner regularly so split firewood was not allowed to be used out in the outdoor fire pit (so bring your own) and the cabinets all had food in them and were basically full. Other than those minor gripes the property is awesome! Inside was very clean and maintained, had everything anyone would need, and is close enough drive to South Shore for some great hiking. There’s also lots of UTV trails around if that’s your thing!

Great property

The cabin was a perfect getaway for a few nights! The location is less than an hour from multiple beautiful cities. The property was easy to find with the directions provided by the owner. Our dog loved coming in vacation with us too.

Weekend getaway

Good location to explore Ashland, Bayfield and Cornucopia. Enjoyed hiking, viewing waterfalls and picking berries! The cabin was cozy and really enjoyed the fire pit!

Cute cabin, great for two families

Cute cabin, well constructed and great layout for two families. Adults slept comfortably in two bedrooms while kids (3 total) had loft. Could have easily fit more kids in loft. In the middle of nowhere but 1 hr drive to many cool outdoor attractions in all directions

Sweet little place.

The place was nice, clean and quiet. It made a great base for the two of us for our adventures. Kevin was super helpful with directions as I was confused about it's location. He explained the location details and his directions in the listing were spot on so we made it just fine. The extra touches to make it homey and inviting we definitely appreciated.

Delightful Peace and Quiet

We needed a quiet place for three of us and our dog for the 4th of July week/weekend, and this house was perfect! We didn't hear a single firecracker or firework the whole time we were there, which was a 4-night stay. The shower has strong water pressure, so we felt squeaky clean even after days at the lakeshore/beach. We loved the AC unit, which kept the humidity away, and the kitchen table was great for popcorn and Uno and other card games in the evenings. I definitely recommend Kevin's house if you'd like some serenity and peace and quiet. Enjoy it! We would stay here again, and I recommend it.

Northwoods Weekend

Beautiful quiet setting and lovely cabin. All ages enjoyed the cabin, sitting out by the fire and watching the stars. The cabin has everything one might need. Great place from which to explore the area. Easy check in/check out process and hosts were great with communication. Really enjoyed our stay!

Our family is from Northern Wisconsin originally and are now spread out across the country at different points in the year. We enjoy the cabin when we have time and built it as a place to recharge from the daily grind. We enjoy biking, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, and exploring the area.
