Our first trip to Croatia with our 4 children was amazing. We arrived late in the evening in the rain. The caretakers greeted us with slippers and warm rolls to eat. They were beyond welcoming.
Our children enjoyed playing in the yard, walking to the local shop for fresh bread daily, swimming at the local swimming hole with water so clean you can drink in- in fact they bottle it.
The people are the nicest in the world. We always had a neighbor dropping off fresh bread, roses, homemade wine and food galore. This village is heartwarming. The view from the home takes your breath away too. It truly looks like a painting. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping coffee and soaking it all in. The home is in a great location for day trips. We went to Plivitce lakes, Samobor, Zagreb, the coastal town of Opatija and the island of Pag. It's a wonderful place to make memories and explore beautiful Croatia!
