家は、アーバーと庭に開く大きなリビングルーム（アメリカンキッチン、ガラス屋根、リビングルーム）、4つのベッドルーム、2つのバスルーム、2つのトイレ、すべてのコンピューター機器を備えたオフィス（インターネット、Wi-Fi、プリンター）。

Wonderful Provence Home

We spent 8 wonderful days here and didn’t want to leave because we felt instantly at home. The owners’ son, Yann, was able to meet us at the property early and was lovely throughout with pool maintenance and communication. The jacuzzi pool was great and was used every day. The garden is a sun trap but with shady areas, too. The house had everything you need to be self sufficient, was very clean and comfortable, and Aix has an abundance of cafes and restaurants with easy access on foot or by bus. Lots of art exhibitions and museums too, and the sun shone every day. Martine and Jacques, and Yann, were most helpful when my husband became unwell. Sadly we didn’t meet the owners but will look them up when we’re back in the area. Thank you for a blissful, restful holiday.

goed verblijf in Aix, ook zonder auto

Omdat we dit jaar reisden per trein, kozen we voor een huis binnen de bebouwde kom van Aix en Provence. Het is ons zeer goed bevallen. Het huis is leuk ingericht, zeer schoon en heeft een tuin met een klein zwembad en een gezellig overdekt terras met grote tafel. De ligging van het huis is goed, ook als je aangewezen bent op OV en benenwagen. Dicht bij een grote supermarkt en goede bakker, en binnen een kwartier (te voet) sta je in het centrum van Aix. Aix is een leuke stad, maar Marseille is ook zeker de moeite waard en goed bereikbaar per bus en trein. Daarnaast hebben we ook nog een dag gefietst in de prachtige omgeving.

Maison très agréable et bien située

Proche du centre ville dans un quartier calme, et facile d'accès pour rayonner vers d'autres sites de visites. J'ai beaucoup aimé la décoration de la maison et nous nous y sommes sentis bien.

Une maison charmante, un jardin bucolique

Notre séjour dans la maison de Martine a été plus qu'agréable. Maison très chaleureuse et accueillante, dans laquelle on se sent immédiatement bien. Les livres qui habitent chaque pièce donnent une ambiance particulière, qui éveille la curiosité. Mention spéciale pour la musique du fils de la famille, dont on a écouté le CD en boucle! Les échanges et la rencontre avec Martine ont également été très fluides et agréables, dans une grande bienveillance, avec de supers conseils sur la région et les visites desquelles profiter pendant le séjour.

Cozy and comfortable

Our family spent excellent vacation in this house. Firstly we really appreciate owner's attention to details. Everything was organized very well. Martine had requested in advance to inform her about our preferences and helped to organized our sightseeing and gave really good recommendations where to go and what to do with our 3 y.o. child. Martine is always in contact if you need to ask additional question. House is very comfortable and cozy. It was too hot outside but very comfortable inside. Kitchen is very well equipped. You can find everything you need. Bedrooms are very comfortable. There are a lot of books in the house, they add a very interesting and specific atmosphere which our family really like. The garden is absolutely lovely where you can relax and stay in shadow, swimming pool small but enough for refreshment. You can go by food to the center of the city but being in the garden you forget about city, there is an illusion that you are in the country side, very calm and quite. Also we could travel around to different parts of Provence from this house. We would definitely recommend this house for our friends who would like to stay in the heart of Provence and discover all its treasures.

Charming home very close to centre

We stayed here as a family of 4 and found the home to be spacious and well maintained. We have a 6 year old and a 1 year old. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh. The owners provided a pack n play and high chair. While there are steep stairs to the upper loft we were easily able to barricade them for our toddler so he couldn’t access the stairs. The yard and pool/hot tub were a lovely amenity. The walk to aix was about 15 minutes, or the bus stop was right down the street. Groceries, and the cafe, Paul, are also easily accessible. The home was also located near the freeway for daytime excursions. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic home from which to discover Aix

We stayed at Martine's home in August 2017. We had a fabulous week discovering Aix and the surrounding area. Martine and her husband Jacques were extremely kind and spent a lot of time advising us about the best things to do and see with our two young children. The house and garden are very child friendly. There is a 'Paul' bakery two minutes walk from the house for all your breakfast needs. We all absolutely loved it.

Magnifique maison

Magnifique maison à moins de 10 minutes du centre ville d'Aix-en-Provence et proche de toutes commodités. La maison a un charme incroyable et est très agréable. Elle est également très fonctionnelle. Tout y est, et le jardin est très bien entretenu. Vous pouvez même vous nourrir avec les magnifiques tomates qui y poussent ;-) Que dire de la piscine jacuzzi, idéale pour des enfants. On se sent en tous les cas très vite chez soi. Elle est extrêmement calme et on y dort surtout incroyablement bien. Ma famille et moi-même ne pouvions pas rêver mieux pour nos vacances cet été. Les propriétaires, que nous avons croisés 2 fois, sont vraiment adorables. Ils sont très accessibles, et ont surtout été disponibles au moindre petit souci. Nous recommandons ce havre de paix à quiconque regarde cette annonce!

"The house is a really nice villa within walking distance from aix-en-pronvence's center and very easy to reach from the highway but without the nuisances of city or traffic noise. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool is a small jacuzzi pool in the garden, very nice to relax in the afternoon. About the surroundings, the city is small but cozy and pretty, and Provence is dazzling."
