After a month visit, there should be a standard supplies for the Villa:
No toilet brushes in any of the 4 bathrooms – that’s totally ridiculous & inexcusable
The toilet seat in guest bathroom is stained rusty, as it’s sooo old, - Replace it ! it’s totally disgusting !!!
No bucket or mop or anything to properly wash the WHITE TILE floors
Plumbing issues:
Kitchen water Facet is broken; doesn’t fit in its socket, and so there not enough water pressure, thus the hot water takes a lot longer to get to kitchen
Master shower facet is leaking
Master Tub Cold tap is leaking – you can see the stain on the tub from years of leakiness…
no cookie trays in kitchen – we didn’t think it was appropriate that the manager asked us to go & purchase the item(s) & then we could be reimbursed, (to have to do the shopping for the owners or management is not right)
Part of the White Tile floor in the dinning room is heaving and you can feel the tiles moving, so this indicates a problem underneath the tile floor.
We are aware the owners know the Kitchen is horribly outdated, but with crackled cabinetry & cracked tile on the counters (at sink area), as well as on the backside of the sink cabinet is discoloured near the floor, doesn’t show well for asking so much rent for a decerped kitchen. The pictures in the VRBO, as very deceiving and don’t show the real reflection & condition of the Villa.
It would have been nice to have another set of King Bed sheets (as the brown top sheet is showing ripping)
Maybe you could ask the owners if they wanted to spend 12K+ and come and stay here for a month and see if they could understand from our prospective. It really doesn’t take much to fix, replace or change these basic issues and it would show to the renters that the owners are respecting that people are staying at their Villa. Either the owners or the property manager should be checking on the condition of the Villa after EACH visit.
And its so unfortunate that we have to write this note.
