It’s a beautiful lake front house that was perfect for my family and our dog. The sunsets are beautiful, the lake was perfect! Would definitely stay here again

Perfect lakefront getaway! Kitchen was well stocked! Loved accessibility to lake! Enjoyed dining at the 209 restaurant in nearby Norway! Check-in was easy ! Rented a pontoon boat at Thompson lake marina one day and atvs another day near Bethel. Weather was great but unusually hot! Cooled off in the clean , refreshing lake!awesome family vacation!

Annual Lake Trip

Neat, cozy, lake front cottage. Lake is clean and open for fun. Limited boat traffic. Easy exploring by kayaks. Nice stay and weather was perfect.

Great family vacation!

Lovely stay! Cutest little cabin! So nice being right on the lake. My nephew learned how to swim. Took our kayaks out every day. It was really great feeling like you were in the middle of no where but still have things around! Had the best clam chowder at ricks cafe in Naples!! Would definitely stay again! Thanks Jeff!!

Perfect!

Everything about this rental and vacation was perfect! It was serene and peaceful. The dock was amazing. I sat on the dock all day reading books and swimming. I couldn’t of asked for more amazing weather. The cabin was very easy to get to and the surrounding area was easy to navigate. I would recommend this property to anyone whether it’s a family vacation or you are just wanting to escape to a peaceful place!

Water supply

The cottage is in a beautiful location and Thompson lake is fantastic. The cottage was clean, hardwoods/laminate throughout, everything worked and no musty smell at all. We were surprised that the water for the cabin comes directly from the lake(you can see the pipe) and we wouldn’t drink it so we bought bottled water. Didn’t remember if that was in the description of the property.

Fantastic view and clear water

Thompson Lake is a gorgeous lake, and the swimming was fabulous! Fishing... not so great. Jeff's camp was very comfortable, and fairly well stocked with household items. I bought a cheese grater and some washcloths to leave for anyone's use. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for 5 adults, but would have appreciated a 2nd bathroom, or 1/2 bath. Thank you Jeff for being so responsive to our needs.

Amazing location! Perfect for our family of 4; all adults. Quiet location and prestine lake.

The screened in porch was our favorite place to enjoy views of the lake; especially at night free from mosquitos. In fact, it was our dogs favorite spot as well. Beds were comfortable and having experienced sleepless nights in other Vrbo locations it was perfect. The only thing that would have made this location perfect was wifi. Using our cell hit spot worked however we had to use our data plan and for the work I needed to do for my job the connectivity was not consistent. I would give this location 4.7 stars ⭐️. 5.7 ⭐️ if u did not need wifi access. Owners were responsive and extremely helpful from beginning to end . We would definitely rent this location again.

Beautiful lake, nice camp, upgrades are beautiful, convenient

We really enjoyed our stay! The weather wasn't cooperating but we did get a few days to take the boat out and fish. It was cold at night but the woodstove heated the home nicely. We had our two dogs with us and the back road was perfect for walking them. Even saw a few deer. Glad for leashes! The home has plenty of items to make your stay comfortable. We watched movies and played games and didn't miss WIFI except for Thursday football. The first night, we arrived late since we had a flat on our boat trailer. Waited 3 hours on the highway and then it poured. It was cold and damp and the woodstove was a life saver. The smoke alarm went off, when starting it, as couldn't find the fan switch initially. After that we were all set. Directions for all other items were nicely documented in your book. We had two days of strong wind and rain. Bailed out the pontoon and the canoe the first night and also saw that the wind moved one of the docks closer. White caps on a lake will do that. The seal around the freezer on the refrigerator was pretty moldy. I'm sure with the change in temps it doesn't help to keep clean. Did find some cleaning items and scrubbed for a little while. Other than that, the work that you have done to update the cabin is beautiful and is a very peaceful spot. You are indeed very fortunate. Thank you for sharing your special spot.

Cozy & Secluded Dog Friendly Camp

Despite cool weather, we had a great week at this camp. Things we loved - outdoor shower (fabulous) beautiful dock, clear swimming off the dock, well supplied kitchen, three comfy bedrooms, zero traffic on the road leading to the camp, 10 minutes from Walmart which has everything you might have forgotten or might need, and friendly neighbors. It's apparent that this cabin has been renting for awhile, because the owner (super nice and easy to work with) has thought of most everything a renter might want (including the little things - like sharp knives - thank you!) I would recommend this house for a family - while it has three bedrooms the common living area is on the smaller side - one great room including the kitchen, dining table and the TV area. When the weather is nice - there is also the screened in porch which is lovely, the deck, fire pit area and dock. Nice big screen TV with lots of DVD's to choose from otherwise you're off the grid, no connection here (which is a good thing.) This stretch of houses is secluded, so no worries about Fido encountering fast driving cars, there's almost no traffic, but the docks aren't quite as isolated - the neighbor on one side is quite close on the water side of the house, but again, it's a pretty quiet neighborhood and everyone is very friendly. If you need to rent a boat, Guy at Thompson Lake Marina is great. There are also two smaller launch ramps closer to the camp, just be careful of submerged rocks (we were launching jet skis so it wasn't really an issue for us) All boaters should familiarize themselves with the lake prior to going out as hazards aren't marked. When in doubt, launch at Thompson Lake Marina and get a map while you are there. The water in this lake is crystal clear - really, so clean and refreshing with minimal boat traffic. The cabin was in order when we arrived with a couple small issues - but Jeff is available by text to answer any questions you might have. Overall - definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful location

This place was perfect for what we needed. We were attending a wedding and my mom and aunt came up to watch our infant. It was a perfect disconnect from the real world, located close to the venue (oxbow beer garden), and a perfect place to spend time with family. Lots of games and movies, and everything we needed in the kitchen. So thankful to have gotten to stay in this beautiful place.

Quiet location, well thought out items to contribute to a comfortable stay. Great view of the lake from the house and fire pit. Enjoyed the dvd library on our rainy day. Great dock! We are skiers and this gave us enormous opportunities for a lot of it! Owner is friendly and responsive to questions. Thanks for the stay. We loved it.

Fantastic Cabin

Jeff’s cabin was perfect for us. It was a great location, beautiful dock area to read, watch the sunset, and it has the best view of the Milky Way with about 1 million stars! The cabin was extremely clean and Jeff was readily available to answer any questions! I would recommend it highly! The Kelly’s New Hampshire

Hi Everyone!
Growing up, I always dreamed of having my own lakefront property and in September, 2014, finally purchased my dream retreat. I live in Boston and my family has roots in New England going back to the 1700's. I'm an avid fisherman and love being out on the water or relaxing on the deck with family and friends.

This cottage is a great mix of camp and modern home. It offers the amenities to live comfortably without being high maintenance. The open concept floor plan, ability to sleep 8 with the sofa bed and seat 12+ inside and out gives you plenty of space to entertain and enjoy time with your crew. The views are amazing from your private deck, porch and dock. The location is great and quiet on a side road but only minutes to the casino and area shops and restaurants. With all the new upgrades, once you stay once, I know you will be coming back!

The private deck and screened porch overlooking the lake offer views of sunsets and eagles. These spaces along with the yard and fire pit overlooking the water are truly my favorite areas of the home, I hope you agree. An extra outdoor shower is an added bonus and a favorite with kids and pets. "Custom" rooms - "marina", "lodge" and "timber" with special touches and themes. New docks, April, 2016!
