Great location with an amazing view

This was a great location - beautiful view set higher on the mountain, nearby some of the areas best hiking, and with a beautiful backyard to sit quietly at the end of the day. The place was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back one day!

Beautiful location!

Great location and views. Be wary of Google Maps because it can take you on maintenance roads on a ski resort! Make sure to go all the way into Canillo before turning onto the smaller road.

Magnificent view of the mountains surrounding Canillo. Very friendly and helpful host. Would recommend the appartment without a doubt if you enjoy being away from the city.

Outstanding apartment

What a great place to stay. We’ve been here for a week and we’ve loved the place and their owners from the very first minute. The apartment has all you may need to cook, clean and relax. The owners are really supportive and are willing to help you at any time. We’ll be back for sure

Breathtaking views

Amazingly beautiful surroundings on and adventurous road with unbelievable views. Quaint accommodations with plenty of room inside and lovely areas outside. Friendly host lives upstairs and took care of everything we needed. The town of Canllo is very nice and only a short drive to Andorra La Vella. We loved all of it!!!

Wow, just wow

We booked this place for 2 nights based on the backyard view from the pics while we were traveling from Spain to France. It did not disappoint. The place and location are amazing. Very comfortable, like having your own chalet. The owner lives upstairs and is a great guy. Stopped by to check on us at the beginning and wish us well when we left. Only regret is we didnt stay longer. The area is just breathtaking.

Pretty view, insufficient property

The view is gorgeous and it is a nice place to rest on vacation for a few days. Keep in mind if you come in winter and it snows it is very likely you will struggle getting up the driveway which is extremely steep, which it does not say in the description. The host does not provide any information on this on the listing; you will only know that if you read the reviews. However, it took a month of attempting for the host to reply back with the exact address, which we needed to plan our drive and make sure we can safely get up with our rental car, and we couldn’t see the house because the address he listed isn’t his street, just the main road. I called, WhatsApp, and vrbo messaged the host and finally got a response back. The blanket on the main bed had dirt and hair embedded in it and one of the blankets on the bunk bed had boogers crusted on it. The dishes were dirty and there was no dish soap to clean them so we used bathroom hand soap. There were like 20 spoons and forks, 20 plates and cups, but no knives for cooking and cutting vegetables. The olive oil provided was 4 months expired and the only seasoning is salt so if you want to cook you have to buy your own seasonings. We arrived at 2:40 but waited in the car until 3pm for check in time, when the host’s son let us in the apartment and showed us around. The host randomly knocked on the door and popped in at almost 7pm to greet us after we had already started relaxing. I disagree with the other reviews saying you can’t tell they live above you; you can hear loud footsteps from above all evening. Lastly, the host messaged us to ask us to clean as much as possible (what is the cleaning fee for?) and to make sure we were leaving to check out at 10, even though the check out time on VRBO says 11am. Hosts need to write a more in depth description.

De eerste indruk van het verblijf is zeker OK. De leefruimte en keuken zijn ruim. De bedden zijn net, misschien voor sommige mensen wel wat te hard om op te slapen. Wel was niet alles even netjes gepoetst (de vloer voelde wat kleverig aan in de keuken en de tafel had ook een poetsbeurt nodig), maar dit heb ik zelf wel opgelost. De badkamer is klein en de douche is aan vernieuwing toe. De tuin geeft een prachtig zicht over de vallei en is netjes. We hebben een vriendelijke ontvangst gehad en de gastvrouw is heel behulpzaam. Er waren misschien enkele negatieve puntjes, maar over het algemeen kan ik zeggen dat we een aangenaam verblijf hebben gehad.
