The property is located within our small vineyard which in turn is located within a plot of land (owned by others), in the splendid Alcantara Valley. An ideal place to spend holidays in direct contact with nature and away from chaos and stress. The area is isolated and there are no houses nearby but it is located just 900 meters from the center of the town of Gaggi. Excellent starting point for excursions to the tourist locations in the area. (Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Aeolian Islands, Catania, Syracuse etc) or for beautiful walks (trekking) in the midst of nature (Rocche dell'Argimusco, Bosco di Malabotta, Etna Park, Alcantara River Park). Furthermore, less than an hour's drive away you can visit beautiful villages, one above all Montalbano Elicona elected the most beautiful village in Italy in 2015. If you are passionate about wine you can have tastings in the most prestigious Sicilian wineries located on the slopes of Etna along the road that leads to the medieval village of Randazzo with its numerous churches.
The structure consists of a small cottage (two-room) equipped with all the comforts to make your stay pleasant. The bedroom is air conditioned with a double bed and a bunk bed, the eat-in and equipped kitchen is equipped with electric paddle ventilation. The furnishings are simple but functional.
In the summer period you can use the above ground swimming pool and the solarium. (June-September)
Upon arrival you will be gifted with a bottle of my own wine.

Since the access road to the cottage is unpaved, cars with very low trim (sports cars) are not recommended. With cars with normal trim it can be driven without problems.

Wonderful relaxing stay!

A small and simple house with the most beautiful location in the middle of the vineyard. The house contains everything you need and appeared very clean. The host Francesco is a very friendly and helpful person, with tips and information about the area, and supplier of fresh eggs, tomatoes, wine etc. The house also includes Rocky and Giacomina, an older dog and a cheeky but sweet cat, they live on the grounds , but suits itself. The area is located with a breathtaking view of the mountains, close to Etna, and close to the coast and the beautiful city of Taormina. The weather was beautiful and the pool was frequently used and regularly cleaned by Francesco. Summary, a fantastic stay that we can highly recommend and to which we would like to return.

A rainy stay in a vineyard

This charming, simple house is set in the foothills of Etna surrounded by lush vineyards, olive & citrus groves. It's a great location for visiting Taormina and the coast as well as venturing up the Alcantara valley & villages beyond. Our hosts Francesco and Giovanna were welcoming and helpful, recommending places to visit. But it rained ... and rained. We didn't see Etna at all until our third day. So, be warned, late June in Sicily can feel much like England in April. We'd recommend this little house in Gaggi to anyone who likes to get away from it all for a while.

Un petit trésor

Petit gîte au cœur des vignobles…avec l Etna en toile de fond. Tout y est parfait : l environnement calme, la propreté impeccable des lieux mais aussi et surtout la gentillesse des hôtes Francesco et sa femme, plein de bons conseils et de touchantes attentions. Merveilleux!

Une charmante maison au milieu des vignes où l'on s'est tout de suite senti comme à la maison. Si vous recherchez un endroit tranquille pour vous détendre et vous retrouver, il vigneto est ce qu'il vous faut. Merci à Francesco pour ses précieux conseils de visites, de plages et de restaurants.

Très bel endroit

Tout était parfait, propreté, équipement, localisation et surtout le calme de l’endroit. Avoir la piscine était très agréable compte tenu de la chaleur. Les propriétaires étaient attentifs et prévenants et nous ont donné de bons conseils pour visiter la région.

Idyllisch gelegen - pure Entspannung!

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich am Ortsrand von Gaggi, inmitten eines Weinbergs. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft freundlich und warmherzig begrüßt und erhielten sogleich eine Schüssel Tomaten/ Zwiebeln und Knoblauch aus dem Heimischen Garten und 3 Flaschen selbstgemachten Wein. Die Unterkunft teilte sich in zwei baulich getrennte Ferienwohnungen. Der Pool war ausreichend, mit Blick auf den Ätna. Die Außenanlage ist idyllisch angelegt, mit einer schönen Grillecke und gemütlicher Sitzecke unter Weinranken. Von Gaggi aus erreicht man die üblichen Ausflugsziele wie Taormina und den Ätna zeitnah und problemlos. Wir waren alles in allem begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

La Sicile au milieu des vignes

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjours chez des propriétaires attentionnés dans une maison agréable où rien ne manque. Super point de départ pour visiter l’est de la Sicile de l’etna à Syracuse et de taormina à la cote Tyrrhénienne . Grosse bise à Giovanna et Francesco pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.

Tres bon séjour

Tres bon accueil. Maison propre bien situé très agréable au calme avec une vue magnifique sur l Etna. Pour les courses on trouve tout à Gaggi et les plages ne sont pas loin. Je recommande fortement.

Oase auf Sizilien

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein wunderbares Grundstück auf dem Land. Olivenbäume, Obstbäume und Weinreben umgeben ein sehr gepflegtes kleines Anwesen. Ruhe und Entspannung warten dort auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Auch freuen wir uns, die netten Vermieter Francesco und Giovanna wieder zu sehen.

Ideal zum Erholen

Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, mit schöner Aussicht über Weinfelder und Olivenhaine zum Ätna. Trotzdem ist man zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten im Ort, der alle notwendigen Geschäfte und auch verschiedenen Gastronomiebetriebe bietet. Die Vermieter sind äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und versorgten uns immer wieder mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus ihrem angrenzenden Garten. Fazit: Ohne jede Einschränkung zu empfehlen!

Ferienhaus Graniti

Das kleine und ruhige Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch zwischen Orangenbäumen und Weinreben. Auch eine große Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten, Grill und Pool (nur im Sommer) ist vorhanden. Perfekt geeignet, um viel Zeit draußen zu verbringen. Die freundlichen Vermieter haben uns mit vielen Tips und mit sehr leckeren Orangen versorgt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um die schöne Landschaft der Umgebung zu erkunden bzw. um ein paar Tage abzuschalten. Ein eigenes Auto ist empfehlenswert.

La Sicile entre oranges et citrons

La maison était très agréable à vivre. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans « Le Vignoble ». Le calme du lieu, son paysage environnant et sa terrasse nous font sentir très vite en vacances. Séjournant en avril, nous étions entourés d’oranges que nous avons eus le plaisir de déguster grâce à la générosité de Francesco et sa femme, un couple très accueillant et très sympathique.

ttrès agréable séjour au Vignoble

nous avons séjourné au Vignoble à 4 adultes une semaine en Juillet 2018. la location est très très agréable, entourée de champs d'oliviers, de citronniers, de vignes tout en étant à 5 mn du village de Gaggi ou l'on trouve tout pour se ravitailler. Par cette chaleur, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine avec vue sur l'Etna bercés par le champ des cigales. En fait la locations est composée des deux corps de bâtiments . Pour l'un pièce à vivre avec cuisine aménagée, une chambre (pouvant accueillir deux adultes et deux enfants et salle d'eau , et l'autre un studio super bien équipé et joliment décoré.. avec cusine aménagée et salle d'eau, ce qui permet lorsque l'on est à deux couples d'avoir un peu son indépendance. Quant à Giovanna et Francesco, ils sont adorables. très attentionnés envers leurs locataires.Francesco nous a fait profiter des fruits de son jardin et du vin de sa production. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour notre séjour dans cette région de Sicile Nous gardons un très agréable souvenir de notre passage à Gaggi. merci encore à Giovanna et Francesco pour leur super accueil. Sehr schönes ruhig gelegenes Haus mit Blick auf den Ätna

Schön gelegenes Haus, für unsere Ansprüche super. Francesco und Giovanna sind sehr nette Gastgeber, die auch ein paar Tipps für Unternehmungen und Ziele in der Umgebung geben. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Und großer Pluspunkt war der Pool, auf die Erfrischung haben wir uns immer gefreut, wenn wir zurück kamen.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment au milieu des oliviers, des vignes, des orangers, des citronniers… L'accueil de Francesco et de sa femme fut très chaleureux, agrémenté de plusieurs attentions tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons apprécié le calme du site et nous avons pu rayonner sur toute la partie nord est de la Sicile. Le lendemain de notre arrivée, l'Etna est entré en éruption: ce fut un moment magique, inoubliable…

Sehr ruhig, naturverbunden und erholsam

Für alle, die Ruhe suchen und völlig entspannt den Tag auf einer schattigen Terasse oder im Pool verbringen möchten, können wir dieses Haus sehr empfehlen. Die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Vermieter haben bei der Einrichtung des Hauses an alles gedacht. Die Lage des Hauses macht ein Auto erforderlich, ermöglicht es aber auch, die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel auf unproblematische und schnelle Weise zu erreichen. Wir waren drei Wochen hier zu Gast. Und: wir würden es wieder tun.

Un coin de paradi en Sicile avec des propriétaires attentionnés

Un séjour de rêve dans un cadre paradisiaque Sous le regard bienveillant de propriétaires attentionnés. Avec l’Etna et la mer à quelques km ce petit paradis de la Sicile profonde nous a émerveillé par sa tranquillité, ses parfums d’olivier et d’agrimes. Eine Oase

Zu viert haben wir zwei Wochen lang Sizilien bereist und dabei insgesamt drei verschiedene Quartiere in Anspruch genommen. Entsprechend drängt sich daher natürlich ein Vergleich dieser Häuser auf. Dieses Haus – unser drittes Quartier – liegt nördlich des Ätnas am Rand eines Weingartens. Es ist ein schön und praktisch hergerichtetes älteres Landhaus, das auch zum Entspannen verleitet. Wir haben in den 5 Tagen kein einziges Mal im Haus gegessen, da die überdachte Terrasse so einladend war. Und der Gipfel des Ätnas hat sich meist beim Frühstück meist blicken lassen. Die Vermieter waren sehr entgegenkommend und haben uns mit Wein und Obst aus eigenem Anbau verwöhnt. Ein absolut zu empfehlendes Quartier.

Très bon séjour

Maison propre, fonctionnelle et très au calme au milieu des vignes, vue sur l'Etna. conforme à la description de l'annonce. Propriétaires sympathiques et accueillants, disponibles pour nous guider dès notre arrivée. La visite de l'Etna face nord et des gorges de l'Alcatara sont à faire.
