Maurizio was a very accommodating and friendly host. The apartment was lovely and located in a great location central to many of the things in Palermo. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, bath towels, and bedding provided. It was very comfortable for a long stay for my colleague and I.

In the heart of the Capo Marketplace, this lovely home sits perched above the oldest market in Palermo. The pictures are real. The host was amazing. The location is perfect. Short walk to everything you want to visit in Palermo.

If you are looking for the full experience, this is it. Located on the historic Capo Market. Host and his wife are lovely and helped with taxi transportation. Apartment decor or beautiful antique heirlooms. The apartment is updated with all accommodation, just be aware that you need to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to it so pack light or be strong to carry luggage. In the heart of history and amazing adventure.

Large ancient apartment in the heart of capo

Gracious host and very clean apartment full of beautiful antiques. Right above the market. Be ware, you will have to walk and enter though an outdoor dining area while the market is open and stairs are very steep and hard to navigate with baggage.

Great location/ excellent stay

Property was very central to all attractions in Palermo. Just out the door to all the street eats you could ask for. Comfortable for all our needs. Excellent stay. A little confusing arrival since the property in on a non drivable street… tho part of the adventure. Host was very accommodating & good communication.

Excellent Property. Large and plenty of space for 4 people. Was well stock with everything you need. Excellent location and in a local market, which was interesting to walk through, and gone by 5pm so no noise at night. Highly recommend this property

Wonderful place to stay in beautiful Palermo!

Everything was great! The location is right above the market, so there is always something to watch. Upstairs it was very nice & quiet to sleep. The terrace has sun all afternoon, great to have a coffee when you want some quiet. Wifi was fast, kitchen, bathrooms well equipped. Couldn‘t have been better. Thank you!

We loved this place. Our host, Maurizio, was very helpful and kind. The apartment is fully set up with everything you'd need in the kitchen and with laundry. There are 5 beds and two floors. The location is perfect for exploring Palermo. There's usually lots of parking on Via Amico Ugo Antonio. It's less than 5min walking from the place. It's 1 euro per hour but free after 8pm and for a period in the afternoon.

This flat is perfect if you want old italy. It is located at the entrance to the capo market - fruits and vegetables, coffee and limoncello, all manners of fried, sautéed and raw seafood, right outside your door. Authentic Italian cuisine - most don’t speak much english so you know it is authentic. Three blocks from the theater. Great location. The apartment has a cold air conditioner, comfortable bed and is well equipped in the kitchen and bath. In the evening the market is gone but the street is alive with music and locals eating and drinking, but the flat is so quiet at night. Great restaurants right out your door. The host was A, always answered my many questions promptly. There are many steps, so if you have mobility issues it is not for you but it was perfect for our group of two couples. Highly recommend.

Porta Carini

We enjoyed our three weeks at this VRBO location. The descriptor was totally accurate about the facility, and watching the daily routine of the people working and visiting the market. The action started around 7 am but every day it was cleaned up and quiet by 3 pm. The apartment was within walking distance of the main attractions and many restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mauricio was a gracious and helpful host e.g. providing a new toaster and coffee maker. Upon request. Awesome! Of note, and we don’t remember the descriptor of the apartment, but be prepared for stairs. It worked for us, but just so you know.

The address was different to the one I was originally given by homeaway. And then different again by owner. Same street but different number 3 times! Very dirty mattresses dirty bathroom and kitchen sink Would not stay here again. Wish I’d not looked at mattresses or sofa under sheets. The dining chairs were filthy and worn out Not comfortable. Smelly bedroom especially. Great location and great people watching balcony but wouldn’t feel safe as lone traveller if arriving after dark.

Vacances a Palerme en famille

L'appartement est super! On peut tout faire a pied. Pas besoin de cuisiner... Ouvrez la porte et vous êtes sur le marché. Il est a nos pieds et tout les jours. Je suis partie avec mes deux enfants. Appart ultra clean. Et les acceuillants sont d'une extrême gentillesse !

12 Tage Palermo im Oktober, Sonne pur aber nicht zu stark, die Tage noch im Sommerzeitmodus. Die FeWo in der Altstadt am Markt, und trotzdem ruhig, geraeumig ueber zwei Etagen,sodass man auch mal seine Ruhe hatte! Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen

Fin lejlighed og beliggenhed. Masser af folkeliv, gode restauranter i nærheden. Dog var det alt for varmt op til 37 grader om dagen og også varme nætter. Aircondition ok i soveværelserne, men kunne godt trænge til en kærlig hånd i stuen.

Appartement extrêmement bien placé au niveau du marché. Facilite pour visite ce qu’il y a autour. Je recommande les yeux fermé si un jour je reviens à Palerme je reviendrai. Les hôtes sont très gentil et très bon appartement.

Maurizio's spacious apartment is situated in an excellent location. It has everything you might need to enjoy your stay. Communication with Maurizio was extremely easy and he is an excellent host, welcoming and informative. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Appartement ancien typique

L'appartement est dans un immeuble ancien de palerme au cœur du marché. Il est spacieux et silencieux malgré le marché aux pieds des fenêtres. Il est rustique mais confortable et parfaitement bien placé. Et le propriétaire nous a reçu à une heure tardive !
