We spent 4 nights at the King's Ridge Outpost between Christmas and New Years. Let's start with the really good. The communication from the management team was great. Very attentive and always available to answer any questions. 5 stars for their efforts. The property itself though I'd have to say is just ok. It's in a good location if you like to stay near downtown Jackson. Just a short drive or walk away to the town square as well as Snow King resort if you happen to ski there (we did not). Unfortunately the condo is well worn. Lots of marks all over the walls, cracks in the drywall, etc. Not the end of the world, just not the greatest look. On check in our door was open for some reason. Guessing because it sticks and no longer will close on its own as intended. Because of this we didn't have to use our code and discovered when we left for dinner our code didn't work. Annoying but not the end of the world. The property management team had a back up code to me quickly. The condo was missing one very key item, a can opener. Not discovered until we were trying to cook dinner one evening. Again, annoying, not the end of the world but paying what you do to stay in condos you don't expect to be annoyed. I'd say my biggest concern was the dog hair everywhere throughout the condo. All over the rugs and collected in various corners. I'm guessing it might have been vacuumed before we arrived but either not very well or there's just so much embedded in the carpets vacuuming doesn't help. We have and love hairy dogs but the property has a strict no pet policy so I'm not sure if it's perhaps the owners pets or someone who stayed before us or what but I wouldn't expect to see the amount of pet hair in a no pet condo. Again, I will call it annoying. Bottom line, fine location, great management team, but well worn and could have been much cleaner particularly on the pet hair front. For the money I would probably look elsewhere next time.
