Our family of 4 (2 adults, 14 and 16 year old teens) had a really great stay! We absolutely loved the amazing ocean front views, the sunset views, the meals on the lanai, the well appointed kitchen and washer/dryer, the relaxing sounds of the waves, the well thought out layout of the unit (2 full bathrooms is so appreciated when travelling with teens), the tide pools with turtles/sea urchins/sea cucumbers/other sea life, the free pickleball courts, the pingpong, the pool, the volleyball area and the attentive and responsive manager Maria. The only minor downside was that the majority of the Kahaluu beach park next door was closed for construction but we couldn't hear the noise of that from the unit and we were able to enjoy the rockier tide pool area of the park immediately next to our unit and then an 8 min walk away (on shoulder of road rather than through the beautiful park paths due to construction) was the other area of the beach park that was also open with a more sandy area to sit and some of the best snorkelling we've every had. It looks like most of the construction is nearly done so hopefully that won't be an issue soon but even the areas that looked done we still all closed off. The only other minor thing was that a lot of the complimentary beach chairs/toys/sporting equipment etc could do with an update (suggest maybe adding 2 more chairs for a family of 4, some pickleball paddles and a volleyball, all of which we were able to borrow from the unit my parents rented in the same complex) as some of the items were really showing their age but they were complimentary for use so we were happy to have them. I notice another reviewer said it was hot in the unit but we had very hot weather (28-30 Celcius) and we found the unit very cool and comfortable by simply opening all the Jalousie slatted windows (all screened so no bugs) and having the ceiling fans on to create a nice through draft. Thanks for such a great stay!!
