Firstly, it should be noted that this apartment is part of a whole hotel complex (Alfagar Aparthotels & Resorts). The Alfagar hotel complex was great for our stay - 11 swimming pools, numerous bars / restaurants, evening entertainment. We had full use of all the amenities. Everything we needed in one location.The apartment is ok - spacious and clean, but it is dated. The bedding and pillows are not great. The worst element is the drains in the main bathroom - they stink!!

Alfagar resort is incredible, so much to choose from, fantastic entertainment and great restaurants, communication could be a bit better, I had to ask for check in details the day before arriving as had received no information but they were quick to reply. Apartment was spacious in a great location close to everything and perfectly clean, wardrobes and sofas could do with updating and pillows are not great but did not make our stay any less enjoyable, the drains in bathrooms did smell on and off but we used air freshener and run water in shower/sinks and this seemed to do the trick.

Excellent holiday complex

Nice and spacious apartment in a wonderful holiday complex with a lot of different pools. The children enjoyed it a lot and didn't want to fly back home.

Fantastic place for family trip

Our family had an amazing time. The location can’t be beat as you’re a few feet from a pool. The kids loved the water park / slides about 3 minutes from the room. They had lots of night time activities for the kids as well. The beach was a bit of a walk, lots of stairs, but that didn’t stop us (2 adults, 2 kids under 8 and a senior) from going every day. The place itself was perfect . Super clean, AC in every room and a good shower. Will definitely go back again.

Fantastic location & apartment

We were delighted with the property overall, was perfect for our family of 5, with 3 small kids. With a little bed manoeuvring, we fit all 3 kids in the 2nd bedroom comfortably. The apartment was brilliantly situated at Alfagar resort, which has lots of pools (not heated but fine in the sun!) and provides everything you need to hand for your holiday. Getting further afield was easy, we just used Bolt and Uber to arrange taxis. The apartment was well equipped, and clean and fresh on arrival. After calling Mr Emmanuel (phone number was sent to me a couple of days before to arrange check in), we had to wait about 30 mins for him to arrive and see us in, but it was no problem for us to get in earlier than the 2pm stated which was nice. Our only issue was a terrible smell coming from the main toilet, we did call to report it on day 2, but nothing was done throughout our 5 day stay. There was another small toilet which we used instead to avoid the smell. This was the only thing that might put us off using this place again, as everything else was perfect.

Great holiday

We have just come back from our weeks stay at alfagar village and we absolutely loved it. After reading reviews of bad communication I was abit worried so I contacted the host directly who passed me mr Emmanuel’s number, I requested early check in and when I arrived at 11am I phoned mr Emmanuel who arrived within 15 minutes and took us down to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious much bigger than it looked on the pictures we were really happy with it. The complex it’s absolutely fantastic for children there are loads of pools and you can even use the hotel over the road which also has more stuff for kids slides splash park etc. The shop on site is a minutes walk from the apartment which sells everything you need and there is a restaurant and bar with a massive kids park on it. The new strip was around 20-30 mins walk and 3.75 euro in a taxi (Ubers come within 1 minute) and the old town was 4.75 euro in a taxi. We never got bored there is so much to do In albuferia and the beaches are lovley. The only downside I would say was there was no cleaner all week, we did have plenty of towels but when I go on holiday I like the beds to be changed and made and floors cleaned, shower cleaned, toilets cleaned and bins emptied this did not happen for our weeks stay.

Smelly and noisy

Apartment is not in Santa Eulia as shown rather Alfagar, big difference. The apartment itself was not cleaned to any high standard and is very basic. It is tired and worn in all respects from kitchen to furniture. The two big issues for me with two young kids is the apartment was smelly and had a constant lingering smell of 'poo' from the vents in the main bathroom, it really stunk rotten. Plus the noise from surrounding area on site was ridiculous from non stop music and singing with deafening heavy bass meant we got very little sleep during our entire stay as every night the sounds would emanate into the early hours. Contact with the owner was not fruitful as attempts to communicate were informed. No checkout instructions on the last day nor did anyone meet us ... If you want peace and sleep do not book this apartment or resort: ALFAGAR is the name.

Special place

We had a lovely week at Alfagar village. The apartment is large and spacious. It has everything you need and easily accommodates five adults with two large bedrooms and a pull out couch bed. the apartment has two balconies, front and back but realistically are not large enough for seating everyone at one time. Our only gripe would be that the fixtures and fittings need a refresh. Everything is very dated and one of the sofas needs replacing altogether. The balconies offer views of the well kept grounds but can be a little noisy in the evening due to proximity to kids play park and restaurant. The village itself is immaculate with lush tropical gardens all around. There are two large pools in the village and another two with splash park in the hotel grounds only a short walk away. All perfect for familes.The walks along the cliffs down to the beach are stunning. However the steps down are many and hard going for the less fit amongst us. The beach is gorgeous and has a couple of restaurants/bars for snacks and drinks. The walk to the main strip in the new town is quite a trek but Uber taxis are plenty and cheap. A special mention for the bougainvillia restaurant in the alfagar complex. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is amazing.A kids playground is close by and entertains the children during courses. Prices are good too compared to other local restaurants. Their is a small overpriced supermarket on site or a spar five mins walk. Overall an excellent holiday.

Très bonne vacances

Le site de vacances est super pour une famille il y a tout ce qu’il faut sur place. Multiples piscines animations spectacle kids club. L’appartement est très bien situé. La mer est accessible à pied. Petit point à améliorer la literie et les équipement de cuisine (couteaux) sinon tout le reste est top.
