Lovely and very well equipped property with a warm pool and great places to sit outside to follow the shade when it was hot. Good location, close to the villages of the Luberon and not far from a very large Auchan where we were able to do all our grocery shopping. Nice also to be able to leave the car in the shade, and to be enclosed behind closed gates. If we'd been with children that would have been an added bonus, as the garden is large and very secure. The driveway to the property is actually off the Route de Menerbes, which had some road noise but didn't really disturb us. We didn't have much contact with the owners because of the language difficulty but they were on hand if you needed anything. Overall a great place to stay, thank you!

Veronique and Pierre were amazing at check in and explained everything to us. It was very nice that they were close as they help us when we needed them. Veronique even got us some breakfast items after a long 27 hours of travel. The place is very private and the pool was fantastic. We got in the pool everyday. Very close to every town you want to go to in the Luberon. Everything is less than 15 min away. Coustellet, the closest “big” town has everything you need and some great restaurants. I would recommend this home to anyone!

The villa was in a peaceful location on the edge of the Maubec village with very convenient access to the main road into Coustellet just 2.5kms away. The property itself was spacious, extremely well-equipped and immaculately clean. The grounds /garden were beautifully laid out and superbly maintained with numerous and varied comfortable places for guests to relax in shade or dappled shade. Pool area, including summer kitchen, was excellent with lots of seating and lounging facilties. The pool was clean, well maintained and perfectly heated. We hardly spent any time indoors but the lounge and dining areas were as we would have hoped for albeit rarely used. Minor criticisms would be: pool access was not easy for elderly guests as there was no supporting hand rail adjacent to the steps (we used a chair to provide support) the inside of the property was rather dark, especially the kitchen and rear bedroom areas. the villa does have 3 bedrooms but the two adjacent at the rear were quite cramped and shared a bathroom and a toilet, so neither could be described as 'en suite'. Our group was only 2 couples so this was less of an issue. hot water supply in the morning did not always cope with demand on the last day we had a drainage issue with the walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom at the front of the villa which we mentioned to the cleaner on departure.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

We spent another wonderful week enjoying this incredible home and property. It is absolutely perfect! The pool is a perfect way to escape the heat after exploring the nearby villages. The owners are lovely and they have created an idyllic backyard setting to enjoy the peace and tranquility in this beautiful area of France.
The outdoor table is a wonderful place to appreciate my obsession with French breakfasts.
Ideal reading location after a long day of relaxing.

This is the most beautiful villa I have ever stayed in. The outside is truly breathtaking and something new will catch your eye whenever you are inside. Amazing facilities indoor and out, with the highlights being the beautifully equipped kitchen and variety of seating areas outside. Genuinely an amazing stay with kind and friendly hosts.

Maubec is one of our family favourites. This property is perfect for us slightly older group. Lovely interesting garden. Our only complaint was unusual heavy storms over our first fortnight BUT the sun did shine!

Beautiful villa!

We had such an amazing stay here. The location is perfect for a quiet spacious place, that’s short driving distance to many spectacular villages across the Luberon including short drive to Gordes. The house has everything you need to feel at home in Provence, and the gardens are a standout - so beautiful, considered and well kept that you won’t want to leave. The pool is also brilliant and we spent a lot of time creating memories with our kids in the pool and garden. Veronique was excellent in hosting. We hope to be back someday!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Maubec! Gorgeous home, gorgeous property. The pool, lounge chairs, outdoor eating area are wonderful. Our children never wanted to leave. We didn’t either. Our hosts were very welcoming, and we felt completely at home. We also enjoyed our daily visit from Meau, the cat. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you so much Veronique!

Beautiful and charming!

Veronique and Pierre's house and grounds are beautiful and the photos do not lie. We had a wonderful stay at their picturesqe property situated close to many of the nearby villages. After a hot, and hectic visit in Paris, arriving at their house in the country was a welcome reprieve! Each day we walked or drove into Maubec for fresh bread and pastries and then usually ventured out to explore the larger towns like Roussillon, Apt, Gordes, Cassis, etc. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that you would need to prepare full meals. Our kids loved the pool and the children's play area. We also loved the daily visit from their cat! We would recommend this place to everyone!

So vergingen viele Stunden....
