Welcome to our charming independent cottage, nestled in the heart of the Normandy coast, just 5 km from Fécamp and its invigorating beaches, and 13 km from Étretat, a regional gem. Here, everything is designed to make you feel at home, only better!

The cottage is located in a very quiet residential area, where birdsong replaces city noise. The long-standing neighbors are discreet, friendly, and always happy to share a word over the fence.

Upon arrival, you'll discover a lovely fully fenced house with a 300 m² garden filled with trees and flowers—perfect for children's play or relaxing naps in the shade. The terrace, equipped with a barbecue, sun loungers, and a convivial dining area, invites you to enjoy long summer evenings.

Inside, comfort and warm simplicity await: a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee makers, teapot, toaster) with a dining area for six guests. The cozy living room features two leather sofas, a coffee table, a satellite TV, and Wi-Fi via a 5G box—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration.

Upstairs, under beautiful cathedral ceilings, you'll find the Aubergine bedroom with a large 160x200 cm bed, and the Chocolat bedroom, furnished with a 140x190 cm double bed and a 90x190 cm single bed. A modern bathroom with a spacious shower, toilet, and washing machine completes the sleeping area. For added convenience, there's a second toilet and a storage closet on the ground floor.

A private parking space is available in front of the cottage.

🕓 Flexible arrival from 4 PM thanks to a secure key box—no stress, arrive at your own pace! Departure is also self-managed.
🛏️ Beds are made upon arrival, and if you wish, we can handle the end-of-stay cleaning.
🚿 Please note that bath and hand towels are not provided.

🌿 The cottage embraces eco-friendly practices: waste sorting is in place, along with a compost bin for organic waste, easily accessible in the garden.

🚶‍♂️ For walking enthusiasts, Grainval's pebble beach and natural spring are within walking distance, as is Fécamp, reachable via the scenic customs officers' path. A collection of local hiking guides is available in the cottage to help you explore our beautiful region.

👧👦 A large playground for children and teenagers is located less than 300 meters away, featuring slides, swings, and a multisport area.
🐕 Just 50 meters from the cottage, a vast open space allows dogs to run freely.
🥕 Near the playground, a popular farm product vending machine offers fresh produce and original ready-made dishes made from local ingredients.
🛒 A Lidl supermarket and a large shopping area are accessible in less than 3 minutes by car or bike—convenient for daily shopping or a spontaneous spree.

nice place to stay

this is a really nice location as a base for holiday, as it is located quite close to town and there's a supermarket which can be reached within a few minutes. although it's close to the road, it's really quiet and it's nice to stay in the garden. the kitchen is not overequipped, so we had to run the dishwasher very often. in the kitchen, there was enough room to remove our own things. all equipment works fine. but there are things we missed: - in the bedrooms, we didn't have enough room to remove our clothes. a cupboard would really be a good idea. - it would also be nice to have some more shelves in the living room. so we had to put our things on the floor. we expected to do bike tours during our stay, but the bike routes were not as good as we expected, so we often used the car instead. as there is a garage as well as a car park, we could use the garage for our bikes and could leave the car outdoors.

Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Gut zu erreichen, gute Parkmöglichkeit. Sehr ruhige Wohngegend. Mit einem schönen Spaziergang kann man den Kiesstrand per Fuß erreichen. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge aller Art.Das Haus war sehr sauber. Es ist soweit alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zu beachten, wenn man mit kleinen Kindern reist, die Treppe zum OG ist recht steil. Auch der Garten ist sehr hübsch, mit Möbeln, Schirm und Grill ausgestattet.Ein kleines Manko, in dem einen Schlafzimmer roch es unangnehm, der Vermieter verspach aber, sich darum zu kümmern.Noch ein Verbesserungsvorschlag, es wäre toll, wenn man auch Handtücher dazu mieten könnte und nicht nur Bettwäsche.Ansonsten vielen Dank für die tolle Unterkunft. Vermieter sehr nett und bei Bedarf erreichbar.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben zum zweiten mal unseren Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht und waren wieder sehr zufrieden. Unsere Gastgeber Valerie und Herve sind einfach lieb und hilfsbereit .Die Normandie ist sowieso eine unglaublich schöne Region und immer eine Reise wert. Wir können dieses Haus mit der sehr guten Lage rundum weiter empfehlen.

Ruhige Tage in der Normandie

Bis auf das wechselhafte Wetter, was aber in der Normandie üblich ist, waren es ruhige und erholsame Tage in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Das Haus hat einen schönen Garten, den wir leider wetterbedingt nicht nutzen konnten. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Straße, weshalb wir ungestört geschlafen haben. Wir können es weiterempfehlen.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Sehr ruhige Lage, sauber, gute Matratzen, 1,4 km entfernt vom Kieselstrand (Grainval), ideal für einen Spaziergang, Hund kann man dort frei laufen lassen. Gut geeignet für viele Unternehmungen in die Umgebung. Tolles Restaurant Auberge Les Tonelles in Grainval. In einem Zimmer riecht es etwas (Tapete?), aber mit gutem Lüften ist es kein Problem. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Hübsches Häuschen mit reichlich Platz für 4

Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen verbracht und konnren bei gelegentlichem Regen von der Größe der Küche und des Wohnzimmers profitieren. Wir konnten in dieser Ferienwohnung bequem zu viert am Küchentisch Karten spielen. Die Ausstattung ist ansonsten einfach aber funktional. Auch unser Hund hat sich im Garten und in der Umgebung wohl gefühlt. Mit Auto und Fahrrad war das ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unsere Erforschung der Alabasterküste. Wer aber gerne nach dem Abendessen zu Fuß unter Menschen gehen will, ist hier falsch. Es gibt keinerlei Cafés, Boutiquen oder sonstige Ablenkungen. Dafür gibt es kein Problem beim Parken oder dem Abstellen der eigenen Fahrräder. Für Familien kann ich das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Charmantes Häuschen mit Garten

wir haben und uns in dem schönen Häuschen in St. Leónard sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist mit viel Charme und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Toll war auch der ausbruchssichere Garten. Unsere beiden Hunden hatten keine Chance und wir lagen mit einem Lächeln entspannt auf den Liegen unter den Bäumen. Die Umgebung ist ideal für schöne Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Nette Cafés und gute Restaurants sind ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt. Hervé und Valerie sind sehr nette und sympathische Gastgeber. Wir haben den Urlaub genossen. Vielen Dank.

Séjour de 3 jours à Saint Léonard

En plus du charme de la haute Normandie, c’est la qualité de l’accueil et du logement proposés par Hervé et son fils Arthur qui ont rendu notre séjour très agréable. Le quartier est très calme, la literie parfaite, on y dort très bien ! La maison est bien agencée et bien équipée, on s’y sentait comme chez nous. Proche de Fécamp et Étretat, elle est très bien placée. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans réserve et pouvons envisager d’y retourner lors d’un prochain séjour dans la région.

Nette vakantiewoning in rustige buurt even buiten Fecamp. Fietsen stonden keurig in eigen garage maar zijn helaas weinig gebruikt door de steile wegen in de buurt. Verder zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Hervé die graag tijd voor ons maakte.

Agréable gîte bien situé

Gîte indépendant dans un cadre agréable et dans un quartier calme. Il est confortable et bien équipé. Hervé est très sympathique et fournit de bons conseils pour les visites et restaurants.

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in einer tollen Umgebung. Das Ferienhaus war super, schön gelegen, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Vive la Normandie!

Erholsamer Urlaub

Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage, gute Bäckerei in max 4 Autominuten zu erreichen, mehrere Supermärkte in der Nähe, Strand von Fecamp ebenso und Grainval mit seinen kleinen Wasserfällen von den Falaises herunter. Hervé und Valerie sind aufmerksame Vermieter. Die, ich nenne es mal "Grundsauberkeit", im Haus ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, so z.b dicke Staubschichten auf Lampenschirmen und dem Kühlschrank. Wie in fast jedem Ferienhaus in dem wir bisher waren fehlt es auch hier an Haken an den Wänden für Jacken, Geschirrtücher in der Küche oder Handtücher neben den Waschbecken im Bad. Ansonsten war alles wie im Inserat beschrieben, vor allem war das Bett sehr bequem. Restaurant Tipp: Les Tonnelles in Grainval, familiär geführt, bodenständige leckere französische Küche und günstig obendrein!

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön! Wir haben 2 wunderbare Wochen verbracht. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und konnte sich auf dem Grundstück frei bewegen. Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ons verblijf in St Léonard

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huis van monsieur Hervé. Het huis was ruim en schoon en alles is aanwezig voor een fijn verblijf. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep uitstekend en Normandië is een prachtige streek. We zijn vast van plan hier nog eens teug te komen. Wilma Mooij en Caroline Kingma
