Great holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the castle.The weather was hot so the pool was essential - though we did have to negotiate times with another group staying in the other side of the castle. Coline was very helpful and easy to contact by text.

Great property

We were so happy with our stay here. We had an extended family visit to see puy du foy. The accommodation was very large and perfect for our big group, the grounds were beautiful and the children loved the outside space. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The host was beyond helpful and was very kind after my daughter twisted her ankle in the garden (entirely her own fault as she fell over a football the children had been playing with).

Family time

9 adults with 8 grandchildren between 6 and 14! We had a wonderfull time: the nine bedrooms gave us the necessary privacy, the kitchen is very well equipes, the swimming pool and the large garden were fantastic, not only for the smaller generation. Breakfast and dinner in the garden and a well kept BBQ Made means unforgetable. We can absolutely recommend this “chateau”!

Perfect for a large group

We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather.

Holiday for classical musicians

A group of 13 of us - musician friends who meet annually for two weeks to play string quartets as part of our holiday - stayed in the chateau for two weeks. We have been renting similar properties in France for many years and we agreed that La Bergeliere was 'top chateau'! It has been beautifully renovated and is generously equipped with everything you need. There are plenty of bathrooms, all working well; the kitchen is certainly the easiest we have ever had for mass catering and had plenty of oven space and big pans etc; there was plenty of scope for entertainment with the lovely heated swimming pool, tennis court and games room with lots of toys for children. People with small children would need to bring nothing - high chairs, cots, potties all there already! Being in a village is very handy for the boulangerie and supermarche, but with the extensive grounds, once in the chateau you are unaware of being in the heart of the village. There are good cycle and walking routes both directly from La Flocelliere and also a short drive away. We were warmly welcomed and felt any problems we had would have been sorted out - but had no problems! The only thing missing (for musicians) was a piano, so we had to rent one for the period, but that was easily arranged on the internet.

Séjour hors du commun pour notre groupe de douze personnes à la Bergelière! Immense château et domaine qui nous tous conquis tant pas sa beauté, ses prestations que par l'ambiance générale. Le jardin est démesuré avec sa piscine et son terrain de tennis neuf qui a ravi les jeunes. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et nous nous sommes sentis comme de la royauté. Nous nous souviendrons des matins paisibles au son des cloches de l'église voisine, de notre visite au magnifique château de la Flocelière (voisins), et de notre escapade épique au puy du fou à 15 minutes de route. Le marché et la boulangerie à deux pas du château ont ajouté un côté très pratique à l'expérience. Nous recommandons vivement ce logis pour votre groupe, impossible d'être déçus!

17 amis , venus en Vendée, avec pour objectif de participer à la randonnée des quatre jours en Chantonnay. L'occasion aussi de visiter le Puy de Fou. "Notre château" a été un endroit idéal pour cela. L'équipement est tel que décrit dans l'annonce et les photos précises. Ce qui nous a frappé, c'est l'espace ! Des grandes pièces, la terrasse avec ses parasols, son bbq très pratique, le parc immense, la piscine chauffée ( super après une journée de marche). La description faite dans l'annonce correspond parfaitement à la réalité. En fin de séjour, lors de notre départ, la responsable sur place nous a demandé ce qui pourrait être amélioré. Nous avons juste dit que ce serait un plus si un éclairage de veille était installé dans les hall de nuit ( quand la nuit, on évite d'éclairer le hall pour ne pas déranger, c'est parfois compliqué de retrouver sa chambre vu le nombre de portes ). Egalement installer une petite armoire ou penderie dans les quelques chambres où cela manquait. Mais c'est vraiment un détail.

Un Noël au château, de merveilleux souvenirs.

Nous avons quitté hier votre propriété. Nous en avons bien profité et toute la famille était heureuse de ce séjour.Lucie nous a accueilli sans souci et a répondu à toutes nos inquiétudes concernant le chauffage en particulier, l'arrivée fut un peu fraiche et la coupure de la première nuit a occasionné des réveils intempestifs, et des questionnements pour savoir si la chaudière allait nous refaire le coup de la coupure toutes les nuits. Ce ne fut pas le cas. Votre maison est très agréable à vivre et la cohabitation a 27 n'a posé aucun problème, toutes les tranches d'âge ont trouvé leurs bonheurs, il ne nous a manqué que le soleil !!!!

Verassing in alle opzichten

We verbleven als verassing voor mijn vrouw met familie en vrienden in la Bergeliere. In een woord fantastisch! Prachtig gebouw , mooie slaapkamers goed sanitair , heerlijke keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt om een bij de omgeving passend diner te koken en uit te serveren. Dit kan dan weer in een schitterende eetkamer of op het terras. We hebben genoten! En dan hebben we door het matige weer nog niet eens optimaal van de grote tuin en zwembad gebruik kunnen maken. Bakker en supermarkt op loop afstand zodat fouragering geen enkel probleem is.

Nous avons trouvé le logement idéal pour notre grand groupe. La demeure est parfaitement équipée, l’accueil impeccable, de nombreuses chambres, tout est propre, de nombreux extras à disposition, un domaine magnifique et une piscine incroyable… nos hôtes sont aimables, discrets et très arrangeants… nous ne pouvons que recommander chaleureusement Monsieur de Vaumas et son grand logement qui réunis tous les critères nécessaires pour une belle semaine de vacances!

Vacances en famille dans une résidence remarquable

Site inhabituel, jardin avec piscine et tennis, équipement en matériel adapté, une grande table en extérieur abritée du soleil, et une situation en plein village avec boulanger et supermarché à 100 m, que demander de mieux pour une réunion en famille ! Une proximité du puy du fou, un spectacle magnifique en nocturne et d'autres sites à découvrir dans la région comme un exceptionnel jardin japonais à une demie heure.

Séjour pour fêter un anniversaire

Château parfaitement adapté pour grande réunion familiale

Nous étions avec nos enfants, leurs conjoints et nos petits enfants, 12 adultes et 13 petits enfants de 18 ans à 2 ans.. Chaque couple sa chambre, des chambres de 2 ou 3 pour les enfants, des douches par chambre également. Grande cuisine hyper équipée, grande salle à manger et salon pour le confort de chacun. Tennis et jardin équipé. Très belle piscine que nous n’avons pas pu utiliser vu la météo. Très beau parc. Ravissant château intérieurement et extérieurement. Séjour merveilleux en famille. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Très bon séjour

Nous étions en famille, 25: personnes de 74 ans à 2 ans. Une belle maison très bien équipée et entretenue avec un espace de vie bien séparés du coin nuit. Proche des commerces du village et idéalement situé pour profiter du puy du fou. Le propriétaire nous a fourni le contact d'une baby-sitter qui connait bien les lieux ! Un vrai plus !

Séjour à sèvremont

Séjour très agréable au château de la floceliere, nous avons succombé au charme de ce lieu magique. Idéal pour un séjour en groupe ( famille, amis ) et avec des enfants. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente. L’environnement du château a également beaucoup d’attraits et du charme.

Rassemblement familial

Nous avons réuni notre famille, enfants et petits enfants pour fêter les 70 ans. Le gîte est parfaitement adapté à ce type de location. Nous avons apprécié la convivialité des lieux parfaitement adaptés pour 27 personnes avec le logis. Nous nous sommes très vite sentis "chez nous "

Beau séjour

Nous sommes un groupe de 14 amis qui avons pour tradition de fêter le nouvel an ensemble dans une demeure que nous louons et qui change chaque année. Autant dire que nous avons un bonne expérience de cette pratique. Ce château est probablement la meilleure résidence que nous ayons louée. Une mention particulière pour les personnels qui nous ont accueillis: discrets, aimables et efficaces.
