This property is for us: Two elderly people wanting to read outside in the sun. We personally dont need much but there is everything you may want. We like the possibility of getting the house by bus.The host is interested to know how youre doing during your stay but not a bit of a stalker. Just fine.

We have become regural visitors to this house although the flights from Finland are long and tedious. It has all we need.It seems to me there was more vegetation in the patio than before which was delightful.

What a find! Beautiful villa with everything youll need for a chillaxed holiday in Corralejo. We knew the area already. 2 mins to the beach, 15 mins walk via the beach to town centre. A couple of local restaurants and bars close to villa. 5 mins wal to El Campario shopping centre. Padraig was a fantastic host who communicated quickly and sorted out straight away with any queries we had. Beautiful roof terrace in the middle of a loveky lane. Woukd deffo recommend 100%. Thank you Padraig.

Lovely villa, especially the inside with the open plan kitchen and living room with doors to the garden are very nice. It’s also very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s an amazing bonus to find herbs and things like tea towels, bin bags, etc. The welcome pack of bread, water, wine and other bits was a fantastic surprise greeting.Whilst we enjoyed the pool it is a little on the small side, just about ok for the two of us and a little too overlooked from the neighbouring houses for us. Lovely sea views from the roof terrace.

I’m glad to hear that you really liked the villa and appreciated the welcome pack. However, I’m a bit disappointed to hear that you thought that the pool was overlooked as all of the houses in the area are bungalows. While the houses have roof terraces, there are only 2 houses on the pool side of the our house and both of their terraces are sufficient distance away to prevent overlooking.

Lovely villa in favourite area of corralejo quite area near sunset lounge and ell campanario. Bbq and sun terrace was great pool a little cool for us but managed to get in .we had a lovely welcome pack with bread milk wine and beers all you need to get your holiday started bread il

Fantastic Villa in Perfect Location

We had an amazing time at Padraig’s villa. The location was amazing just a few minutes walk to the beach and shops. A lovely walk around the sea front to the main town. The villa was as described and the pool was a fantastic warm temperature so our girls spent a lot of time in the water. Various nice areas to sit and relax around the villa. Padraig was a brilliant host. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return.

Lovely villa and pool, great facilities

A very relaxing week, the pool is super and the garden lovely - both were attended to whilst we were there Well equipped kitchen and other stuff, plenty of towels and nice welcome pack awaited us Location is great as it’s quiet, close to the beach and a perfect walk into Corralejo for evening meals Handy supermarkets 5 and 10 mins away

Sunshine holiday

The property is very well located. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac but close to all amenities and a short walk to the beach and the centre. Private, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. Great to have parking right outside the gate although you could manage very well without a car if you wished.Padraig was quick to respond to any questions we had and check-in/check-out made easy via key lock box.Corralejo has something for everyone - beautiful beaches, great restaurants and cafes, lovely walks, music, trips, shops and markets - you can be as active or as lazy as you like. We loved it!

Another lovely stay

Well located and spacious with lots of areas for the whole family to use throughout the day. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Everything was fine just needs an update and air con is essential. The are local bars and cafes but main area is half an hours walk away

Hi Steven, I take it from your review that you weren’t best pleased with your holiday. Likewise, I’m not best pleased by your 3-star review, for a few reasons. I have no problem with constructive criticism but I feel that your review is an unfair and inaccurate review and off-putting to future guests. The house is constantly upgraded - new pool heating system, new 55 inch OLED TV within the past 6 months, new washing machine, fridge, rooftop terrace, loungers and furniture, I could go on. The furniture, doors and wardrobes were all painted in a chalk finish paint giving it a “distressed” look. The photos on the website depict the house exactly as it is, there should be no surprises. Your only correspondence to me prior to your stay was “Hi As there is no air con are fans provided” I replied, that yes, we had fans, and that there is nearly always a cross breeze, so it doesn’t get too hot. But, with the knowledge that there was no air conditioning before you stayed, you rated the villa down after your stay, because it had no air conditioning?? Then you say the “main area is half an hours walk away”. I uploaded 3 Google maps onto the website to properly inform people. It is a 15 minute walk to the main strip (1 Km). The Music Square - along the sea front takes 21 minutes (1.6 km or 1 mile), or by the streets takes 24 minutes. You range from either 100% inaccurate to 43% to 25%. Please don’t lob in a destructive review without having a think about what you are saying first.

This is something where we enjoy ourselves without doing anything special - theres no need to.Were are getting older and in all truth the villa isnt brand new either. Mais c'est la vie.

Worth trying

We´ve been visiting the Canary islands for years searching for a villa we would like to come to again. It may be we´ve found it now. A word of caution, though: Beware of the noisy neighbours.

Lovely villa and pool

The villa was very comfortable and homely with everything you could need, the pool was excellent the temperature was kept at a good level (the sun helped) which my grandson loved. The villa was 10-15 minute walk to the beach shopping centre and main town. The owner Padraig was very helpful even before we arrived with help for transfers etc. All in all we had a wonderful time, and would recommend it although air/con would be beneficial especially in the bedrooms.

Another great stay

This was our 2nd visit to the villa. This is a perfect little haven. Location is ideal, quiet area close to el campanario and yet within walking distance to the many shops, bars and restaurants of Corralejo main strip. Sunset bar is a stones throw away. The pool is a great relief from the hot sun. Check in again was seemless and contact with Padraig was always prompt and more than heloful. Only because we have visited Corralejo many times we will venture somewhere different next year but we will almost definitely return to Padraigs villa.

Lovely family villa with pool

We stayed at the villa for 9 nights as a family of 5 with children ranging between 12-16yrs. There was plenty of space for everyone. The pool was enjoyed and all the outside spaces were a great addition. We did hire a car, as we wanted to explore some areas & beaches but I think you could get away without a car. There are local places to eat, we liked to walk to El Campanario for dinner and they had a lovely market on twice a week. Communication with Padraig was brilliant & answered all our questions. We all had a lovely time here

Overall it was a nice villa and location with a thoughtful owner.

On arrival it was a nice surprise to see some food and drink essntials where part of a welcome package and general washing up liquids, wm capsules, toilet paper etc where in place for use, ive stayed in villas b4 and others have nothing, so it was a nice surprise not having to go straight out for supplies. Overall it was a nice villa in a good location, however i think the villa could do with a few improvments, bathrooms could do with a bit of regrouting etc or a deeper clean would be more pleasing to the eye.
