Great location and view

Enjoyed our time at Kihei Beach condos. Location and view were fantastic. Nice long beach walks. Clean and comfortable. Only issue was the dishwasher didn't work but small inconvenience. We loved our stay.

Convenient beautiful location

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The location is perfect and peaceful. When needed contacting management was easy and they are kind and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

Great vacation

The condo had everything you need. Beach is right there and we enjoyed taking walks on it. The property has a great view of the sunsets. Don’t forget the bake shop across the street!

The location to the beach was amazing! Lots of whale sightings from our lanai. The manager made a spot for us to store our rented kayaks. A farmers market, ABC store, and the best shave ice right across the street.

Excellent condo

Terrific view in a small condo complex. Best supplied condo we have stayed on Maui. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, beach equipment, and comfortable bed. Thank you for taking such good care of your rental. Only negative was that the pool was unheated and very cold.

Liked it even more than I thought I would

Great property. A little rundown looking when you park but quickly realize it's just well camoflauged. Staff at the building are there to answer questions and help as needed and take really good care of property. Loved the view, beach access, etc. No complaints

Good central location, lots of privacy, great view

For this particular trip, I did not rent a car since I have family in the neighborhood. There is not much within walking distance though, so I recommend renting the car if you don’t have friends here. Also, this neighborhood is sleepy, so if you’re looking for more activity, choose another one. Sugar Beach is great for swimming/floating and sunbathing on the super soft sand.

You can easily tell the property owners have been doing some upgrades. I love this property (beautiful sunsets, centrally located, quiet, ABC/Bakery/Shave Ice right across the street).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year at this property. Our unit was nicely equipped with plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything you need. The only issue with this unit was a very stale, musty smell. It never went away even with the windows and doors open. This property is peaceful and quiet. We will be back next year.

We are now on the Big Island but still talking about how extremely pleased we were with our stay in 204 at the Kihei Beach Resort and discussing how soon we will return. Not often our lodging is perfect for us but this most certainly met our every expectation! Most wonderful stay of our four island visit this year. (December 14/January 15)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property, however, the lanai furniture needs to be replaced. It was just short of being insulting. Also I must say that the floors throughout were not clean enough to go barefoot, Hawaiian style. I don't believe that they were wet-washed during our entire 3 week visit.

Wonderful condo on the oceanfront

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay for a week in condo #204 at Kihei Beach Resort. An amazing view, being located on the oceanfront, and a perfect location for our long beach walks and swimming each day. The condo was clean and comfortable, with a newly remodelled kitchen. It had everything we needed for a carefree stay. Located on Sugar Beach, we walked across the road for the best shave ice, wonderful bakery and farmers market, as well as a general market. It is close to Kihei and centrally located for trips to other beaches south and in the Kaanapali area. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is so nice to have on the property. We'll be back, for sure!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been to Maui a few times, but this was the first time we got a condo rather than the usual resort. It was perfect for us four! The oceanfront setting and view cannot be beat. The central location is darn near perfect - 20 mins from the airport and north shore, close to the Kihei amenities without being in the middle of the action. Condo itself is in very good condition, very clean, nice kitchen. Minor nitpicks are the A/C which seems a little underpowered - but plenty of ceiling and floor fans to keep things comfortable. Also, like others we noticed the dining area is a bit dark and could use an overhead fixture. But other than that - we had a great, stress-free time!

Kihei Beach Resort is AMAZING!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've visited Maui 3 times now, and each time we've stayed at Kihei Beach Resort. 3 different stays, and 3 different rooms, but each has been perfect and beautiful and we will always stay here when we visit Maui. The property is ideally located right on Sugar Beach, with private access. Not to mention the local farmer's market that's right across the street, plus THE BEST SHAVE ICE IN MAUI! There's a pool, there's abundant lawn chairs for sun bathing and relaxing, and there's a common room for meeting new people and chatting with the locals. The employees are always happy and helpful, the rooms are always clean and with updated appliances, and the beds are as comfy as they come. I never have anything bad to say about this place, and I doubt I ever will. If you're looking for a place to stay in Maui, you won't find anything better than Kihei Beach Resort!

Maui Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in the condo and took advantage of the local amenities. We loved the local setting, especially the beach. The atmosphere in the building was friendly and Marianna at the desk was very helpful. We would recommend the property to our friends and family with some qualifications. The furnishings, especially in the living room, are a bit out-dated and "tired". The overall cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, could be improved. There is a noise (motor humming and vibrating) in the bedroom and bathrooms. It kept us awake at night and we had to move to the pull-out bed in the living room. This bed was much less comfortable. Kihei Beach Resort is a gem and we will definitely return, possibly to a different suite.

Amazing place to stay for vacation! Highly reccomend

To start the location was perfect and right on the beach. Even from the second floor you can see exactly where the ocean starts during high tide (first floor wouldn't be able to see this). So second floor and up is perfect. There was not really any check in process as the lobby was closed for remodeling. The check in and code for entrance was done through an app which had a variety of helpful resources in the area. I am not even joking when I say there was literally something in almost every drawer in this condo that would be found if you were truly living here for a long time. Off the top of my head there was a vareity of cookbooks, to kitchen utensils, various cooking supplies/cleaning supplies, books to read, games, even extra decorations inside a drawer just to put on the book shelf. The condo had a very large balcony along with windows. Also a screen in balcony but we didn't need it. The sofa and bed were comfortable. The pullout sofa bed however, was very unconfortable and thin. You could literally feel the springs. It was better just to sleep on the sofa without pulling it out. The area around the condo is of course the beach but also next to a convience mart, shaved, ice, canoes rental, bakery, and farmers market all within 1 minute walking. Everything inside the condo was clean along with extra toiletrees and other bathroom supplies like towels. The decorations inside the condo were also very nice with traditional Hawaiian items. The roosters at 6 am will wake you up since they are found everywhere in Hawaii, but the roosters just live in the woods across the street, not on the actual property. The pool was clean but we didn't use it. On the last couple of days the AC wasn't working but we were notified of it not going to be working during our stay. We just left the balcony open and the fresh sea air was good enough. Thank you for allowing our vacation to Hawaii be such a positive experience! :) -Ryan B.
