As Advertised

All i can say is the place is amazing, the staff is amazing and ownership is amazing. We retuned out the entire resort for 24 of our friends and family and everybody and an amazing time. Brian and Marry made the travel and stay as easy as possible. Brian went out of his way to make sure we always got checked into the airport and had transportation back and forth from the resort. Food and drinks were perfect which leads me to the full time bartender Carlos. Carlos definitely the cherry on top. Our entire group had the best time hanging out with him, he made the best drinks and even showed us how to play a dice game that we played every night once we learned. Highly recommend this resort to everybody.

Sundiver Resort and San Pedro, Belize

It is an awesome resort and staff, being that it is our first time experience in San Pedro, Belize. The resort and staff were amazing,..the house maid, the cooks, the bartender and the owners were all awesome and friendly. With such a large group (24 people), they were very accommodating and flexible with all of us. They helped arranged all of our activities, getting us golf carts, picking us up and taking us the San Pedro airport. Just a fantastic, fantastic experience…and we would love to return to this resort again some day.

Amazing time in Belize

The property was absolutely perfect for our group of 22 people! The staff at the resort is awesome and the owners made sure that we had everything that we needed. We definitely enjoyed the Sun diver bar and the bartender Carlos!! I highly recommend the Sun diver resort to anybody who is traveling to Belize

Property, Stay, Staff. Everything was Incredible!!

This was our first trip to Ambergris Caye. The Resort and Staff went above any expectations from the beginning. From booking to exiting the property. Owners (Brian and Mary) answered every question and concerned before arrival. The large group was coming in at different times. They arranged the flight from Belize to the Island. They knew what time we were coming in. There was a few that had a delay, due to weather. They notified me that they were delayed before the group was able to call me. When couples landed in Ambergris, Brian was there to meet us and help with transportation to the resort. This was either handing us a set of keys for a golf cart or already having arranged the taxi to take us to Sundiver. Once there we had nothing to worry about. When we went to them for suggestions, or wanted to book something we went to the office and made the request. They were able to get everything done quickly. We were celebrating a couple of things in this group. They were able to book music for the special night and an outdoor BBQ for us all. We have traveled with large groups several times. Done similar properties. This time it was different. We felt like family when we were at Sundiver Resort. There is no question that we will be back. Hopefully sooner than later. Thank You So much for the hospitality and letting us in your Sundiver Family for the week.

Corporate Retreat that was AMAZING

We were impressed from the start. The communication on the trip, how it was going to proceed and the help on getting to the resort prior to even leaving the country was stellar. Upon arrival we were met at the airport by the owners and then whisked away to the resort in a boat to arrive to drinks at the bar by the staff. The entire staff was helpful, thoughtful and always smiling. We had three great meals a day prepared by the team and they always addressed the several food allergies our team had. They arranged excursions for us and pointed in a variety of directions for different activities. However, we could have never left the resort and been just fine. Great accommodations, great views and all the amenities you needed right on property. Lots of help with logistics by the on site manager and we saw the owners every day. What a great trip. Couldn't recommend this place more.

We’ll Never Forget You, Sundiver!

Mr. Brian and his wife ensured we were ready for an excellent vacation from jump street. Everything we needed (and then some) was taken care of prior to our arrival. While on site, Mr. Brian’s staff gave our group of 14 a vacation we’ll never forget. Thank you to the Sundiver crew for a wonderful week! We hope to see you again someday!

Wonderful family reunion!

We had family reunion for week. 18 of us, ages 2.5 to 73. All had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The resort is as advertised, clean, beautiful and family friendly. We quickly felt like part of the family. Mary and Brian, the owners, are onsite, and wonderful hosts. They met our water taxi at the private dock, oriented us before and over dinner, and one of them was around some time during the day. The onsite manager, Lupita, was also available any time. We booked excursions through Brian and Sundiver, and all of our excursions were excellent. They work with top-notch vendors. Brian, Mary and the staff were able to quickly accommodate last minute requests, and changes in accommodations or menus. The food was outstanding and the bartender great! Could not have been a better family trip for 3 generations!! All were overwhelmed. Expectations were exceeded! Highly recommended.

Best trip ever!!

We were waited on every moment at the Sun Diver. They helped us with all of our excursions to Belize, the ruins, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and even a chocolate class. Non stop Pina Coladas were a favorite and the best part about it was the complete privacy of our own resort. We want to come back so bad!! Thanks Sun Diver!

Amazing resort and experience

We had a group of 18 stay at the Sundiver resort for a week. The resort is truly beautiful, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. Our group enjoyed delicious food for each meal. Brian and team were very helpful with transportation coordination, which is needed since this resort is a little north of the main town. Golf carts were also arranged for us and were a perfect way to get around town. We had no issues with roads or transportation. I would recommend this stay to any group who is looking for a location that allows you to have your own private experience but still allows access to all the amazing experience the islands have to offer!

Absolutely the best. We love the family feel, and the ability to do anything there is to do on the island, booking and paying right there at the resort. The hidden jewel of the island. Welcoming and relaxing with all the amenities you will need. Including bar, restaurant, beautiful pool, and on the beach. My wife and I have been 8 times in 3 years. To say we like it would be an understatement. Brian and Mary are wonderful hosts and friendly. Enjoy.... V.....

Magnificent Place - Sundiver Beach Resort!

We had a group of 23 for the week, representing 5 families with 10 adults and 13 children (ranging 7 to 16 years of age). Brian could not have been more accommodating and attentive to our needs and requests. Pre trip questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. We scheduled several activities (Deep sea fishing and mainland excursion specifically), well ahead of our arrival. The entire staff at Sundiver is fabulous! Meals were superb, and Omar took fabulous care of us the Dive Bar! An electronic free week for the kids did not dampen their ability to find plenty of activities, including beach volleyball, cornhole, and various other games. A visit to The Truck Stop is must, as is a day at Secret Beach. Our mainland excursion was incredible with the Mayan Ruins/cave tubing combo highly recommended! A fabulous option for large groups or families looking for a beach getaway without the typical resort congestion.

Belizean paradise

Our group of 22 friends spent a week at Sundiver Beach Resort, and each one of us agreed it exceeded our expectations. Even before we arrived, Mary was incredibly helpful as we emailed back and forth, responding quickly and answering all of our pre-trip questions. When we got there, we saw the setting was just as gorgeous & impeccably maintained as it looked like in the posted pics--no sandy floors in rooms here! The rooms were also relatively sound-proof, so the late night crowd didn't disturb sleep for the early-to-bed crowd. The food was delicious, and the staff worked hard to accommodate the few of us who had dietary restrictions. Arranging excursions was a breeze and affordably priced. Being located next door to a dive outfit meant our scuba divers and snorkelers had easy access to explore the beautiful barrier reef as much as they wanted. Omar the bartender kept all of us hydrated with our beverages of choice at our own little dive bar included on the property. And at the end of the week, our entire grocery bill for 3 meals each day plus all the rum/beer/juice/sodas we wanted was just $25 per person per day. This is the perfect location for any group of 24 or fewer. Our week in this little Belizean paradise could not have been any better!

Sun Diver Beach Resort

Resort manager, bar tender, cooks are delightful. Property is nice. The beds are not great; lots of very sore/stiff mornings. The local roads are full of pot holes which is also tough on sore backs (traveling is done in golf carts). Sadly, it was uncustomarily windy while we were there, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the water and beach. Our excursions to the ruins and great barrier reef were spectacular.

Birthday Week at Sundiver

Our stay at Sundiver was perfect - and I know that's a pretty broad description but it's the best way I can describe it. I chose Sundiver as destination where I could get together with my closest friends and spend a week celebrating my 60th birthday. We were not disappointed. Brian and his staff were outstanding - there for everything we needed and more. Our trip started over a year before traveling South with Mary (Brian's wife) willing to answer all of my questions. We were very prepared to make the trip which made us a lot more comfortable. When you are on the property all you have to do is contact Cell - the property manager and everything was taken care of. From scuba and snorkeling tours, to guided fishing, to onsite yoga instruction - all you have to do is ask. We chose to eat most of our meals on the property (great choice) however; whenever we chose to eat a lunch or dinner out - that was ok too! The cooking staff was great, serving up outstanding meals every day. Breakfast was always excellent, lunches were simple and usually served outside at the bar. Dinners flavorful, with a lot of local flair. The ladies went over the top for my birthday - creating a cake and decorating the room with enough candles to burn down the place. I can't say enough about our bartender Omar. He was there every day from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and kept the party going. He became the resident favorite and featured in many of our memorable photographs. We loved Omar. Sundiver is a bit out of the way, but that's what we were looking for. It was quiet if you wanted it to be and plenty to do if you didn't. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance (or golf cart distance) if you wanted to see something different. Finally, the layout of the property is perfect, with nice clean rooms, a swimming pool, and direct access to the beach. In fact, every room has an ocean view. Another bonus, tours can be accessed directly from the pier on the property. Really can't say enough about the property, Mary and Brian the owners, or the very capable and helpful staff. We will definitely be returning!

Sundriver Resort is a beautiful and private setting

Our group of 12 stayed at the Sundriver Resort January 11-17, 2019. This was our first visit to Belize. The resort was great and the staff was wonderful. The staff treated us like family. Omar the bartender was a sweet heart and a popular guy with our group. We were all family staying at the resort. The snorkeling, diving and fishing trips that the resort arranged for us were the best and the guides were fabulous. We rented 3 golf carts to get around. The roads in Belize are not the best, and the road going out to the resort were full of potholes (not the resorts fault). Yes we recommend Sundiver Resort and we would go there again. The only thing not so good were the hard beds. Great swimming pool. Thanks Brian, Mary & staff for making our stay great. J. Grove from Oregon

Great place for larger groups

We travelled with 24 people to stay at sun diver. The rooms were nice and the location was pretty good as well. The staff went above and beyond and everyone was very friendly. What made our stay so great was that the owners (Brian and Mary) were so helpful for our group. They truly care if you are enjoying your stay and want to know how to make it better. Twice Brian went way above and beyond. He helped us with a golf cart rental issue and also came late one night to help find some medicine for our sick child. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy with friends and family.

Fantastic place. Sun diver is a wonderful place to escape all your worries.

Sun diver beach resort exceeded all our expectations. The facility is clean and comfortable, they make you feel like you are part of the family. The staff is professional and very accommodating. Everything was great from the food to the scuba diving they really know how to take care of you. We have already booked our next visit.

This facility is well suited for a family with all aged children. It was our favorite trip ever.

We could not be more happy with our stay at Sundiver. The staff catered to our every need. The food was outstanding and the facility fit our family perfectly. The fishing and snorkeling tours they set up were professionally done. They arranged for transportation for a mainland tour and for us to attend church on Sunday in San Pedro. We think we set the world record on the number of fruit smoothies our family consumed during the week and the bartender hung with us throughout. We have recommended it to all of our friends and plan a return trip ourselves. Five stars for sure.

The best!! Brian & Mary -owners, did everything to make our family of 15 enjoy a vacation away !!!

The resort area was kept clean & inviting. The food served each day was outstanding. Even made arrangements for our gluten-free granddaughter. All staff was pleasant and helpful. Helpful suggestions were made for excursions, if desired. We would go back to this resort every year if possible.
