excellent holiday

This property was perfect and had everything we needed. Wonderful accommodation, roof terrace and balcony offering fantastic views. Will definitely be back. The location was great, close to the the sea and minutes from excellent bars and restaurants. Thanks Jose for a fantastic holiday.

Essentials needing attention

Location is fantastic, lovely big flat, large upstairs section for BBQ, comfortable beds. However... air con does not work in all 3 bedrooms and many other appliances and services require upgrading. Hob not working, washing machine broken, shower door not secure, covering of roof top terrace very shabby, sun loungers all broken, plus broken dining room chair....more care and attention required in general.

Upkeep of Apartment

The apartment is very nice and spacious. A few little things need a bit more attention from the owner: the faucet of the kitchen sink needs to be repaired. Very loose. The tolilet flushing buttons in the toilets don't work properly. The shower in one of the bathrooms is spilling a lot of water onto the floor - the door cannot be closed properly. One light bulb was not working when we checked in. One of the kitchen lamps in the ceiling is 'flashing' and couldn't be used. Very little things indeed but the owner should take care of these little things....

Great location and size, however requires maintenance.

The location and size of the property are excellent. It was right in the town, making it easily accessible to all amenities. However, the apartment requires quite a bit of maintenance as you can see from previous reviews. The washing machine is very old and rusted and broke on our stay (after reading reviews this was not the first time it’s happened). The washing machine needs replacing. Also the toilet in the shower room broke as it would not flush and kept running water (I can see previous reviews this has been an ongoing issue) José did fix this issue after lots of contacting Vrbo. The plumber said the part that had broken was very worn down. As others had mentioned the tap in the kitchen needs maintenance also. There is also a birds nest on the balcony next to the kitchen door, which didn’t cause us any problems but did have to keep cleaning up the poo so it would not blow into the kitchen. The shower screen door in the shower room needs maintenance, this has also been mentioned in reviews previously. Overall the size and location of the apartment are excellent however, the apartment does require maintenance to make your time there comfortable. We spent three of our days waiting in for technicians. The views are spectacular though.

Die Wohnung ist OK, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sitzmöbel (Sofas und Stühle) könnten mal erneuert werden. Super ist die Dachterrasse mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Ria Formosa. Reichlich Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Tredje gången i lägenheten

Lika trevligt som tidigare. Den mest fantastiska utsikten från balkongen och takterrassen där vi följde växlingar mellan ebb och flod och det rika fågellivet. Bra utrustning och utrymme i lägenheten. Vi kommer gärna en fjärde gång.

Fjärde gången i Fuseta

Fuseta lockar oss tillbaka gång på gång. Vi trivs i den genuina trevliga fiskebyn där allt vi önskar av en semester finns på gångavstånd. Nu återvände vi till den rymliga, välutrustade lägenheten med den mest fantastiska utsikten från balkongen och takterrassen. Vi är två par i 60- och 70-årsåldern från Sverige. Vi bor gärna här igen när vi kommer tillbaka i framtiden.

Super Lage, großzügige Wohnung

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt, trotz Corona. Im Vorfeld zeigte sich der Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend, als wir unsere Reise verschieben wollten. Die Wohnung war in einem guten Zustand und sie bietet ausreichend Platz für bis zu sieben Personen. Die Dachterrasse und die Lage zum Strand sind super. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass sich in der Küche alte Lebensmittel der Vormieter befanden. Einzelne Geräte (z. B. Sandwichtoaster) hätten vorher gereinigt werden können. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kakerlaken und mangelnde Hygiene

Am Abend des Check-ins haben wir gegen 22.30 Uhr Kakerlaken im Bad, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer gefunden und vier davon erschlagen können. Anschließend mussten wir unsere Sachen sicher in die Koffer verschließen und unsere Kinder (darunter ein Säugling) stets auf dem Arm behalten um eine Infektion mit von Kakerlaken übertragenden Krankheiten zu verhindern. Aufgrund der Uhrzeit konnten wir nicht mehr gleich ausziehen und mussten die Nacht dort verbringen. Wie in Ihren Hinweisen empfohlen, haben wir gleich den Vermieter kontaktiert, jedoch ohne Reaktion. Am gleichen Abend viel uns die defekte Duschtür auf, die sich nicht schließen lässt und das Wasser ins Bad laufen lässt. Als nächstes fanden wir ein beflecktes Bettlaken und Bettwäsche vor, ohne Ersatzmöglichkeit. Im Babybett fehlte eine feste Unterlage. Es gab nur eine weiche Matratze auf dem Metalgestänge, sodass es nicht brauchbar war. Am nächsten Morgen fanden wir mehrere Ameisenstrassen durch die Wohnung. Im Teppich im Wohnzimmer und in der Küche, wo sie im Brot zu finden waren. Zudem befanden sich in mehreren Ecken Haare der Vormieter, o.ä., sodass die Reinigung offensichtlich nicht ausreichend war. Nach dreimaligen vergeblichen Anrufen konnte den Vermieter erreichen, der zwar einen Kamerjäger gegen die Kakerlaken anbot, aber weder die Ameisen beseitigen oder die Wohnung richtig reinigen wollte und unserem Vorschlag, die Wohnung gegen Mietpreisrückerstattung zu verlassen zustimmte, wenn wir ihm Beweisfotos zusenden würden. Die Fotos habe ich morgens an dem Vermieter geschickt, ohne seit dem eine Reaktion zu erhalten. Nachdem ich damit vergeblich versucht habe, das Problem mit dem Vermieter zu klären (wie von Ihnen empfohlen), habe ich FEWO kontaktiert und erfahren, dass es nun zu spät für eine Ersatzwohnung oder eine Erstattung sei. Dafür müsste man sich 12h nach Checkin Beschweren. Es könnte der Verdacht entstehen, dass wir betrogen wurden. Bisher sind alle Versuche zumindest unser Geld wiederzubekommen an der Ignoranz von FEWO und vom Vermieter gescheitert. Eine letzte Frist haben wir noch gesetzt, danach prüfen wir rechtliche Schritte.

En primer lugar comentar que el pueblo de Fuseta aunque pequeñito es encantador, sus gentes amables y serviciales, sus playas preciosas de arenas finas y el agua cristalina y limpia resumiendo un paraíso.Que decir sobre el apartamento, muy bien decorado,espacioso, limpio y tiene una cocina grande con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones como si estuvieras en tu propia casa, aire acondicionado en todos los dormitorios, salon y cocina.La temperatura como es normal en estas fechas altas pero dentro de la casa sé esta de maravilla, el descansado es total nada de ruidos y sobre todo se duerme perfecto, los colchones muy buenos y perfectos para descansar.Hemos pasado unos días de vacaciones fantásticos.Felicitar a José por el apartamento que tiene perfecto para las vacaciones.Recomendable cien por cien, esperamos volver.No duden en alquilar el apartamento no se arrepentirán.

Superb position in Fuseta

Delighted to come across Jose's apartment for our stay in Fuseta. It has three large double bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a large lounge dining room and a fully equipped dining kitchen with everything you could need. There is also an excellent roof terrace with a large table and chairs as well as two sun loungers and a superb view. The apartment is in a perfect position near to everything Fuseta has to offer. Top tip... Casa Corvo is an excellent restaurant and well worth a visit to sit out on the pavement eating delicious freshly BBQ fish. Look forward to staying here again and would definitely choose this apartment as it ticks all the boxes.
